Comics Place — Attraction in Bellingham

A great comic book shop in Bellingham. My partner and I were strolling down the street and stumbled on the Comics Place. We went inside and were greeted immediately, mostly because they made sure we read the sign about proof of vaccinations. I am happy to see a shop do this especially one which serves children, adults, and even the elderly. I could go on a rant about how more community oriented stores should check for vaccinations while we're still in a pandemic (believe or not) but I will save that for other social media platforms. The selection of comics were excellent. They had a good selection of mostly young adult novels. They also had other books which aligned nicely with geek aesthetics like "The Art of..." studio ghibli filsm, hard bound, coffee table books. They also had board games, dice, and a general ttrpg selection. The prices were fairly competitive from what I know for most comic book shops. Even their prices on dice were fair prices. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. They were also very knowledgeable about comics and thr area. I loved this place honestly. I walked in and the staff greeted me right off the bat, and showed me around since it was my first time being there. The staff were very patient in answering my questions, providing information on current comic books runs and others that I may like. I asked for a sticker that the store may have that was for THE COMICS PLACE and maaaaaan the staff hunted down for some and it showed how much they care about their customers and the effort they put into their store. I purchased a comic book stor-folio and found some good Thor comic books. Here there are modern comic books and ALSO a lot of back issues! There are also graphic novels, and other illustrated editions. There are some CGC comic books for New Mutants 98, The Crow, Spider-Gwen and others. This is a store that everyone must visit. They ad a book in stock on their site so I ordered it. I get a message the next day saying they canceled my order stating they don't have it. The price was for cover but the book goes for more now. I assume they either sold it in store, they realized it was under priced, or they don't keep track of their inventory very well. Either way, I won't be using this company again.

Edit - Response to seller: Wrong. It didn't say that. It said it was in stock and that is all. Now it isn't on your site and you canceled my order. You either don't keep good inventory or you realized it is a hot book(your words) and decided to keep it to sell it for more. My suggestion you asked for is to not show items in stock that aren't or don't try to squeeze pennies out of your stock when you realize they are...
