The Haunted Mill — Attraction in Belmont

My husband, sister, her boyfriend and myself went expecting to be scared beyond all belief. It was nothing but disappointing. I don’t know how this place got rated as one of the top scariest haunted houses because it was awful. We were in a group of six and given one flashback for the leader of the group to use. In hindsight, it left the rest of us walking around in complete darkness. We were unable to see anything, but just heard “screams” from the staff. All they did was beat on walls.

If we could have seen the staff that were supposed to “scare” us, it would have been much better.

I can walk around in my own house at night and be more scared than I was at this attraction.

This was the best haunted house (mill) we have been to. Great job everyone!! The wait, the cost wasn't bad. We were out of the cold. We had 8 in our group hands down to them for letting our group go together. I would've LOVE to have seen all the props, scenes, and actors though because the few that I seen looked SOOOO REAL!!! I was able to see some because I was at the front with the light!!!!! I think it would be a good idea not to give a flashlight and have glow sticks so that you can see your group! just an idea. This place is for kids. This is so lame. First we had to pay $3 just to park. Then wait in a very unorganized line to get tickets to go back out to the back of the building for the haunted house. Nothing scary about it. We walked in the dark majority of the time and in a complete maze. The actors just yelled at you, no other special effects. I don't like being rushed through a haunted house. They let too many people go in with you and Then rush through. I could have scared myself better at home or stayed home to walk in the dark instead of paying some one to walk in the dark.
