I debated not leaving a review, but gah, I'm so tired of overpaying for sub par food and service. Ordered a turkey sub. The bread was stale. I ate one half because I was tired and hungry. I asked for a to-go bag and nicely mentioned to the staff that the bread was stale (so someone else didn't have to pay $14 for a stale sub). The employee's reply was "well, we toasted it". I let them know toasting stale bread does not make it NOT stale and they looked at me like I was crazy. No apology, just a snarky, "we'll look into it". I wasn't expecting a refund or replacement since I did eat half out of desperation. My goal was to let them know to save another customer. Please teach your staff that toasting stale bread does not make it better. If I wanted toasted, stale bread, I would have gone for a salad with croutons somewhere. Also, although not the staff's fault but there was a family with 2 small children whose parents were letting them pick up and squeeze every bag of chips and candy in the racks below the sneeze counter. I know some people don't like conflict but someone should have kindly asked them to stop. Read moreThe online ordering system is awful. At first it's pretty cool - I called the phone # and got a recorded message that I'd get a link to order online. I would rather order online thru Google like every other restaurant that has seemed to figure this out, but I'll settle for the link, since this restaurant seems to want to do it in this weird clunky fashion.
I was able to create my sandwich order but the payment just would not go through. I'm using Google Pay w/ a card I use all the time. No matter what I did, it wouldn't work.
