So thrilled this place has opened. An indoor playground AND a coffee bar! This has literally been my dream for the longest time. So they close at 6pm on the week days and only do private events on the weekend. I still love it! Especially if you're like me and a stay at home mom. This is a fantastic place to meet up with other mom friends and let the kids burn off some energy. The staff has been nothing but amazing and kind. They also make a pretty good Americano. And even if coffee isn't your thing they offer other drink options and carry a few snacks for kids. The building is clean and the toys get sanitized. There are several family restrooms with changing stations if you have tiny little ones. They have two very nice private rooms for hosting parties. As far as the playground goes the main area is a huge enclosed obstacle course complete with 2 tube slides. There is also what I would describe as a play yard, more suited for little babies. The play yard is all foam and also has two smaller slides. There are toys and blocks and a few rocking toys. Around the playground and play yard are a few tables with different activities, like large Legos and magnetic building tiles. This area also seems to be where the kids like to ride the plasma cars. Over to the side they have several imagination rooms. The Let's Move room seems to be pretty popular. It offers an interactive floor that shows video games. Next is the Vet Clinic, followed by a rock climbing wall, a grocery store, and an auto repair room. Every one who comes must sign a waiver and check in at the front desk. Adults are free and kids (1 to 6 years old) can get a day pass. That's per kid. They also offer pricing for serval passes or memberships for month passes. I talked to the owner about keeping track of kids leaving with the right adult. At this moment in time they don't have any program like stamps in place. What they do do is escort any individual who shows up without a child who says they are there to meet someone. Overall we love it, my daughter and myself. We purchased a membership and have plans for many future visits. So if you're bored and tired of being trapped in the house due to the weather I highly recommend...
Read moreDecided to take our 14 month old for the first time after his first haircut to celebrate. When we tried to check in there was no one at the counter. I saw that I needed to fill out a waiver as the sign states “all children must sign a waiver.” No problem, I began filling it out. An employee appeared and stood standby. I wasn’t sure if I should continue or what so I said hello and was ignored. Ok, maybe she didn’t hear me. Finished the waiver and approached the desk to be told I need to fill out another waiver. There was some confusion as I kept asking “for him??” and she said “him.” I thought she was referring to my son needing a separate waiver but it turns out she wanted me to fill out another one for my husband.
I’m already slightly annoyed by this point but perhaps it is all a communication error. It’s still a good day.
We go to pay she asks if we have socks for him. Whoops I left them in the car and went to go get them. When I get back I’m told that I need socks too. Of course I’m wearing sandals. My husband goes back by himself with our son while I sit in our car and look up your website. Sure enough it states “ Adults are required to wear socks if they are planning on climbing in our play structure or playing in our soft play area.” Oh ok, that would have been simple enough to explain.
So I go back inside and find a new employee at the desk. I ask if I can go back with my shoes on and she says yes. Once I get back to the play area there are other moms !barefoot! playing and I swear that was the tipping point for me.
So while this is an insanely cool idea, I would have tried the cafe under different circumstances, and I wanted to have a great day with my son, I have been seriously...
Read moreWe had a decent time here the other day with our 3 kids, but there were a couple things that stuck our to me to make me leave a 4 star.. My youngest is 17 months and only stayed in the baby area, so I was surprised that we had to pay full price for her when she obviously doesn't use half of the play structures! I think it would be fair to charge maybe half price for kids 2 and under? Just a thought.. The whole place is small and cramped. I was almost ran over multiple times in the "racing track" and once again couldn't bring my 17 month old over there. I don't blame anyone for this because it's just the space that they have, but it's very congested! Perhaps my most important take away- My baby tried the 3 and under slide and banged the back of her head pretty good coming down. Its a shockingly steep drop for little toddlers and mine definitely wasn't expecting it! It honestly needs to be a slower slide for little kids, it's too steep for them especially those under 2. I know mine can't be the only one that flew off that thing like a rocket. She refused to return to the slide the whole time we were there which was sad.. bc that's usually her favorite thing to do at parks. All in all this is definitely a cute place owned locally and I would never leave a 1-2 star review for my above concerns. But I just wanted to mention those things and give some recent/honest feedback.. honestly we probably won't return. I'm glad to see that they have business during and after Covid madness though and glad to have supported local...
