Better Health Market & Cafe — Attraction in Bloomfield Township

Super disappointed with my experience here. I have stopped in many times to pick up a drink or snack while on lunch at work. Today, I stopped in on break to grab a quick burger. The burger took about 15 minutes to cook which is understandable. I proceeded to the checkout to pay for my burger water and chips. The lady at the checkout told me the card machines must have just went down, the manager (I presume) approached me and said unfortunately we can’t except credit or debit at the time. I said I was on lunch break I work in the same plaza and offered to go grab cash to pay for my lunch. The manager said unfortunately no. At this point I nearly wasted my entire lunch, I did not even get to have what I came there for. Better health apparently is fine with wasting food in this situation rather than waiting a few minutes for a customer to grab cash for them. Would not recommend this service to other people and it’s a shame because I’ve heard people share disappointment in this store before and I decided to give it a shot....

Better Health Market is a nice place to go for vitamins, supplements, essential oils, remedies, and other varies items you can purchase for your health. The prices can be expensive but, I'm talking about my health and I will pay a little more to stay healthy because my health is important and worth every Penny. They have products for your hair as well. I purchased the Macadamin oil the oil that you can use on your hair, and body. The smell isn't as pleasing as I would have liked but it works. The lady at the register was nice and asked if I found everything I was looking for I told her about the item I couldn't find and she plighty offered to help me locate it. I thought that was awfully nice of her to shut her register down and help me find it. #keep up the good work. #places like this needs more...

They have items other places do not. Staff tends to be nice. The weekly discounts take the edge off the high prices. (sign up for their store card/txt program)

The store is organized in an interesting way (poorly), in which there are several repeat sections of the same themed items but yet they are different. For instance you might find veggie-meat products amongst the real meats, amongst the dairy, and amongst the frozen food section in two different places. This seems to be to case for other items as well, which can lead you to think they don't have the thing you are looking for. It also leads to walking all over the store to get a few things. Staff at times is confused by the system as well and will lead you on a similar journey...
