A Tale of Two Experiences at Panera Bread
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Panera Bread, where I encountered a stark contrast in customer service that left me both impressed and disappointed.
Let's start with the positive: Nev, one of the staff members at Panera, truly went above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. From the moment I walked in, Nev greeted me with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor made me feel valued as a customer. Not only did Nev take my order promptly and accurately, but they also went out of their way to accommodate my dietary restrictions, offering helpful suggestions and ensuring that my meal was prepared exactly to my liking. Throughout my visit, Nev remained approachable and attentive, checking in on me periodically to ensure everything was satisfactory. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was truly commendable, and it's clear that Nev takes great pride in their work.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the manager on duty during my visit. This manager whose name I believe is Shauna exhibited a shocking lack of professionalism and customer service skills. On this occasion, I overheard the manager speaking disparagingly about a customer within earshot of other patrons, openly expressing frustration with their requests to another staff member. Not only was this behavior unprofessional, but it also created a tense and unwelcoming atmosphere within the restaurant. When approached with a question by another customer, the manager responded curtly and dismissively, displaying a complete disregard for their concerns.
In summary, while my experience at Panera Bread was enhanced by the exceptional service provided by Nev, it was unfortunately overshadowed by the rude and unprofessional behavior exhibited by the manager on duty. While I would gladly return to Panera Bread to be served by outstanding staff members like Nev, I hope that the management team takes steps to address the concerning behavior of certain individuals to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and courtesy...
Read moreOVER PRICED HOSPITAL FOOD I am not one to leave a review but after several below average dining experiences I feel like I have too. The first visit was for breakfast as I ordered a coffee and breakfast sandwich. The coffee station was low/out on just about everything. I proceeded to tell an employee they were out of crème and he tell me to bring my cup over I’ll dump some in from behind the counter instead of coming to fill the container. Two minutes later a woman runs into the same issue and he does the same thing. I then wait nearly 15 minutes for a sandwich to be made standing at the counter watching the employee mosey around with his hood up. My second visit was for lunch a few weeks later. I put my order in And took a buzzer and waited at a table. The buzzer went off and the screen said my order was done. I see nothing but my Soup behind the counter for several minutes, nobody would even look at me. I finally get somebody’s attention And tell them my order said it had been done five minutes ago And they tell me they are waiting on my sandwich. After I get my sandwich, my soup was ice cold cause I had been sitting on the counter for over five minutes. The lack of care from the employees at this Panera bread is upsetting and ridiculous. Walking around with your hood on and not making eye contact with customers is an embarrassing look on a franchise. I would consider getting a new manager, maybe one who actually cares how their employees act./Service...

I’m one of the new grilled sandwiches so when I receive my sandwich, I look for the bacon so I went up to the counter with my sandwich. I showed him there was no bacon. The girl told me. Yes I did. I put bacon on it. There was one strip of bacon that was broken in half and that was it. I told her this isn’t what I want. I paid for this and this is what I get. The cashier said she did order bacon yes she did the girl in the backyard. Well, we really don’t put bacon on it but you don’t treat a customer like this When I order bacon I got one strip of bacon broken half those was a guy in the background, he said he start using swear words it was very disgusting. I will never go there ever again. The customer service was a bad. The only person that was nice...
