To the rude blonde who served me in the drive through on 7/1 around 9:40am... when you scream things about the “stupidity” of customers, you may want to make sure your little window is closed or perhaps count to 10 before having your outburst. I ordered a Venti iced mocha this morning, after sitting at St Joseph Mercy for 5+ hours while my dad was having triple bypass surgery. I received a call from a nurse about his status while in the drive thru and was just about to hang up when asked “do you want a drink stopper?” I just said no, and then hung up with the nurse and thought to myself “why would you need a stopper for an iced mocha?” She hands me a hot mocha and I politely said “oh I’m sorry, I ordered an iced mocha” and she ripped it back out of my hands, turns around and yells “I ASK IF YOU WANT A STOPPER, YOU’D THINK THAT WOULD PROMPT SOME SORT OF THOUGHT BUT NO... WHY ARE PEOPLE SO DUMB? UGH!!! SOMEONE GIVE ME AN ICED MOCHA!” I was shocked, and honestly too much in shock to even say anything when she threw my iced drink at me and said HAVE A NICE DAY with no expression.
All I’m going to say is, think before you run your mouth. Everybody is going through something and deserves to be treated with kindness. Maybe instead of loudly asking WHY I didn’t fix YOUR mistake at the stopper question, you should question how you or somebody else read the screen wrong when preparing my drink? Because I know the screen at the drive through said iced mocha....
Read moreThis Starbucks is truly exceptional—home to the most honest, ethical, and kind-hearted team of baristas I’ve ever encountered. They’re so wonderful, in fact, that I emptied all the change from my purse into their tip jar to show my appreciation...Forgetting, I had also tucked my diamond wedding band of 26 years into that same change pouch while traveling the week before. 😬 Note to self: never do that again!
The next day, as the sinking realization hit me and my husband reminded me just how valuable that ring is, it dawned on me: I may have tipped my wedding band to the amazing Starbucks crew.
I called, feeling both embarrassed and hopeless, and explained my situation. The barista I spoke with was super kind and understanding. He said he'd check the safe and call me back.
Less than five minutes later—he called back with the best news ever: they found it! My ring had been safely kept by their team.
To the entire Starbucks staff: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your honesty, integrity, and decency mean the world to me. You’re more than just great baristas—you’re amazing human...
Read moreMy drink is STILL WATERY 👎Right off the bat. Also ... WIPE DOWN YOUR COUNTERS! Including the napkin area people. After waiting for my drink, wondering why it was taking so long, I had plenty of time to look around and it's gross. And when you make mistakes, don't just bribe someone with a whole $8 worth of next-time‐you-come-in garbage coupons. Communicate with the customer if you're questioning why they haven't picked up their drink when it's sitting there and he's looked at it numerous times but not taken it. I kept wondering why they were looking at me like that and it isn't my thing. I also can't remember the last time this place got my order done correctly. When it was kind of affordable a few years ago, it was ok to mess up here and there. Now? Forget about it. I'm not coming back unless a manager or company rep somehow contacted me. Good luck with that,...
