I had what I thought was a a pleasant first experience going in to get a piercing.. I attempted to reconnect after two weeks to switch out my earrings. I spent the better part of four days receiving inconsistent and incoherent communication as to why I wasn’t gaining clarity or appointment to come back in. I ultimately went to another shop where I learned my piercings had been infected due to information I hadn’t been giving previously by this establishment.. I have also been back To the other shop and have gotten many more since. I was confused by the delay in service, and blatant disrespect for my time I received here, because I had been before with little issue. I got two piercings done at Tattoo Garage. My septum and my belly button piercing which was the worst piercing experience thus far. My septum was done great and I am very thankful for how sanitary and nice the man who did my piercing was. However, when it came to my belly button piercing I was given poor after-care instructions. It led to my piercing becoming infected multiple times while it healed & a scar that eventually came after realizing my piercing was rejecting due to the metal that was put in. After further information, I was informed by another piercer that the CBR (captive bead ring) that was put in as my piercing was the cause of rejection. I found this place on Google Maps and I’m glad I did!!! I called in advance to verify if an appointment was needed, explained what I wanted done (the upper top of my ear aka Helix or as I called it cartilage lol), and payment method. Christopher informed me no appointment was needed and I can come in with no problem and payment was cash only in which he repeated a few times because not everyone carries cash (if you’re like me you’re constantly swiping your card lol).
