So my experience here was not the greatest. It starts off with the entrance which is right beside the loading bay which at most stores is an employee only door. You finally enter the building and are greeted with a nice chain and do not enter signs to stop you from messing around the loading bay and are directed immediately (by the chain) to a door to enter the store.
Once inside the store you see mounds of stuff everywhere which make it look cluttered but its actually open and easy to navigate some parts.
The biggest let down for me was the prices. In the past my mom was able to pick up 4 matching kitchen chairs for $1 each and other items were similarly priced, now however even a basic dirty computer chair is minimum $25 and at most $100. For those prices you can literally buy new off the internet. They have some bikes and computers that are way over priced as well (again almost new prices on used stuff). Up near the front they have in a display case with some computer components which are again way over priced. One item was visibly faulty (an amd radeon hd 6350 512mb with a capacitor half broke off effectively bricking the card) and yet they still want $15 for it.
From what I've heard it was a great place to get cheap stuff, but now it seems they are going the way of Goodwill and pricing theirselves out of business as i saw 5 people walk out with empty hands in the hour i was...
Read moreThis place is only open during normal business hours except on Wednesdays, which makes it difficult for the average working adult to be able to shop. The items they are selling are priced at nearly-new levels, so the computer monitor I bought for my spouse could have been purchased for nearly the same price somewhere else. The monitor is FILTHY, and the necessary cables were not provided, so we can turn it on but can't tell yet if it will talk to the computer we're using it for.
Further, on the one lucky Wednesday I happened in to this store, they announced as I walked in that they were closing in five minutes (at 5:30). This was not advertised on any signage outside the store or in the entrance, so I had to quickly find what I needed and leave. I saw several other people come up to the store as I was loading my car, and they all left disappointed as well since the place closed early.
They do offer a discount if you take a picture in the store and post it to Twitter or Instagram, but that assumes that you use one of those apps and that you have them loaded on your phone.
Overall, this was not worth waiting for the special late-night Wednesday hours, and the next time I need an item that I'd like to buy used, I'll be...
Read moreAwful customer service. was interrupted by employees the whole time I was trying to shop. The man upfront cashing us out and a man named tim was very rude and disrespectful. Was turned down on my first credit card simply because it was didn’t have my first name that’s on my license. Had my last name. I won’t be coming back ever and will be constantly talking down upon this wretched place. Absolute rip off for anything in the store. 5 year old or older junk that they want the original price for. Absurd....
