This Arts Center is located on the Main Street of Blowing Rock North Carolina. It is divided into sections by the type of art that is featuring that month outside it has a rock tumbling machine that used to be used for the stones up there and within the museum there is the most interesting light fixture I have ever seen anywhere it reminds you of a starry night. My little kid bumped into Sarah Vaughn (the glass artist who created the rock collection), and she was so patient talking with him and took him in to create the community's paper rock art in the museums education room. My kid hugged her goodbye, asked her to remember his name, and on our way back thru the town, he was so happy that he knocked on rocks in the bricks singing "Sarah, Sarah, Sarah".
