Very cute, comfortable and clean. Standard facilities and appointments but not fancy, although the decor has a very sweet personal touch to it. Dog friendly with a small dog grass potty area in back. Other guests allowed their dogs to run off leash, barking and annoyingly charging our dogs more than once, which was not cool, but not a deal breaker. Our sink was clogged when we arrived and it took over an hour for them to treat but it didn't clear up, so they sent us up to the suite for the night instead. Overall they are a great little inn for a good price, pet friendly, clean, helpful and flexible staff. We can easily recommend them.

We were pleasantly surprised. We haven't stayed in a classic motel in many years. It brought back great memories from when motels were considered a practical place to stay while traveling. Our room was clean, wifi worked well, and the bed comfortable. The room with a king bed was small, but manageable. In the morning, we sat outside on our rocking chairs. during the day, we walked into town to visit shops or dine. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We have no complaints and only good feelings. The picture attached is of the grounds right outside our room. We will stay there again.

This is the second time that we've stayed here and I can tell you we have absolutely loved both times! The rooms are cozy (might be a bit small for some folks but was perfect for us!)... Clean and VERY comfortable and the outside spaces are inviting and nicely landscaped. Many of the other guests gather in the adirondack chairs, or in the gazebo on the lawn. It's walking distance to downtown, but quiet and peaceful. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome! This is our go to place for Blowing Rock!

Very nice but also VERY SMALL rooms.

Unfortunately the bathrooms are BEYOND small. Truly impossible to turn around and setting up shaving kit was a little bit of a comedy routine the sink was so small.

EXCELLENT service when the staff is asked. Morning coffee a little slow to refill - but overall an excellent value for the dollar on this trip.

Annual trip from Illinois to NC to take the kids to see my parents. We intentionally left the interstate so I could show the family a little bit of home not easily seen from I-40.

Did not have any reservations because we were not entirely certain where we were stopping for the night. By the time we got to Blowing Rock the family was ready to stop traveling for the night and we found almost everything booked or too far from restaurants to walk.

This was recommended by one of the B&B operators and we took it.

The grounds were immaculate! The rockers on the porch a lovely touch! Coffee in the morning in Blowing Rock looking out over their courtyard was just very nice.

However, the room was just too small! Most certain that we will stop in Blowing Rock again and may very well call ahead for a reservation this time, but not without asking for a larger room or a second room for the kids.

We did have 4 in our party so that DEFINITELY contributed to feeling crowded, and the beds were very comfortable overnight.

But the room we had really shouldn't have been for more than 2 people.

A party of two "wandering" through the Appalachians for a weekend really might love this place. Just make sure you peek at your bathroom...

We absolutely loved staying with Kathy and Charles at Alpine Village Inn! My husband, our golden retriever and I had planned to arrive on a Sunday and leave on Tuesday. We ended up extending our stay until Friday because of the wonderful experience! The double room was perfect for us. Tammy made sure the rooms were very clean and everyone at the Inn kindly checked in with us to make sure we had all we needed each day.

Alpine Village Inn is truly a great place for any type of experience you are considering. The rockers on the porch are perfect to relax in and enjoy conversations with other guests, The flowers, the chairs and gazebo on the front lawn are beautiful for enjoying the moment as well.

The location of Alpine Village Inn is perfect. You can easily walk up Sunset Drive to Main Street Blowing Rock. There are many shops that capture attention of people at every walk of life. The park is well maintained and the flowers are simply extraordinary. If you love dogs, you will love Blowing Rock. Dogs are welcomed at each store front with a cold bowl of water and they are loved on everyone they go.

Alpine Village Inn is also a great central location to enjoy the High Country. You can easily drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway for beautiful hikes, spend a nostalgic day at Tweetsie Railroad or take a short drive along 321 to spend time in Boone!

Thanks again to Kathy and Charles for a memorable week at Alpine...

Riding down the Blue Ridge Parkway via motorcycle can really wear a person out. I happened to hop off in Blowing Rock and decided to spend the evening. I found the Alpine Village Inn, thanks to Google, and called and asked for a vacancy. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with smiles and a warm welcome, and even some motorcycle talk. From the outside, the Inn has a cozy look with rocking chairs outside each door. Coming into the room, I was greeted with a clean bedspread, and a very nicely decorated room. After settling, the owners pointed me toward downtown for a bite to eat. After a good meal, I was ready for some rest. I climbed into the comfortable bed with the softest sheets I've ever experienced and slept like a rock. It was quiet and dark. In the morning, getting ready for a shower, I noticed the neat pocket door in the wall for the bathroom. There is even a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave in my room! I'll definitely be back, not just to stay, but to see the owners again, as they are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you're out on a motorcycle adventure, or any other reason you might need a home away from home. The Alpine Village Inn is the...
