After a disastrous experience that left me literally crying outside of the Apple Store in Kenwood, I emailed computerDNA. They replied quickly and were beyond fantastic and accommodating of my needs via email, and in store as well. Brock emailed with me back and forth to answer all of my questions, and assured they could accommodate my needs and replace the battery in my macbook while I waited, something no other place was able to do.
The store itself was easy to find with signs out front, parking was easy, and inside the store was clean and quiet. Nobody else was in there when I arrived, and the staff person was able to communicate with me in a way that again accommodated my needs. They were very patient with me too. (Unfortunately did not get their name but thank you!)
They were able to replace my battery in maybe ten minutes while I sat and waited, and the final price was actually cheaper than originally quoted which was a bonus. I can't say it was cheap, but it's an apple product, and I'd happily have paid even more than that to not have been without my laptop for days at a time. I'd say the environment, customer service, and immediate turnaround are well worth the cost. I don't think I'd have paid less at the Apple Store.
I have never left a review before but I am so so grateful for this place and their help. They were accommodating of my disability and needs, and able to complete the repair while I waited, since I could not be without my laptop for days like everyplace else was quoting. On top of that, the store itself was calm and clean, which was a massive breath of fresh air in comparison to Kenwood Mall.
I'll definitely be back here if I ever need another repair, and I'll be telling everyone I know to come here as well. Thank you so so much!
PS. There were steps, so unless there is an alternative entrance the store is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. But everything else...

When all hope was seemingly lost, Computer DNA saved the day. I went to the Mac store and they told me my hard drive was toast (which is annoying, since I take really good care of my laptop). Worst of all, it looked like my data was all going to be lost as well, since I've never really used the time machine feature.
Computer DNA not only replaced the hard drive of my computer to make it fully functional again, but also recovered every single file on my computer. When I opened it up again for the first time, it was like nothing had ever happened. Photos, work files, everything - all fine and functional. And as a testament to their success, I'm writing this review happily on my revived macbook.
So Kudos to Computer DNA. Not only are they entirely talented at computer repair, but they're really nice too. Read moreI went there to get my Mac fixed and they did fix it, but their costumer service was awful. The person at the front desk was very snarky and very unprofessional. He gave me an attitude, he seemed like he had other things to do so he rushed and I saw multiple eye rolls. I wasn't pleased. I went back a few weeks later because they said the problem with my laptop could happen again so they recommended I get a new one and they would transfer the data for free if I came back in 60 days. I got a new laptop and went back in the specific time gap, but they said it would cost $150. I wouldn't have a problem paying it, but they did tell me they would do it for free. The man told me to "loose my attitude." I didn't have an attitude, I was frustrated and wanted to get what I was told that I would get. I was awestruck that an employee would tell me that, the customer is always right. He told me to find proof, I got my receipt and went back in and showed the man.
