We are fairly new to the area and moved down with only a few pieces, so we are shopping to fill the rooms. I purchased a very nice Sideboard from this store recently, we love it. We stop in every other week to look for new pieces but today the people were so rude.
When I walked in the women said hello and asked if I needed help and I said I'm just looking for any new pieces they may of gotten in. She said "we get them weekly" and walked away.
I looked at a piece by thier front desk and tried to ask the man a question but he interrupted me twice mid sentence with something that had nothing to do with what I was asking about. He didn't stop to take the time to actually hear what I was saying.
The women came back and interrupted giving me a card but I declined since I didn't need her card I just had a question but she was busy at the moment. She turned her back and walked away from me.
As I turned to walk away and look at thier furniture he said "don't get frustrated, WE'RE BUSY!" I didn't mind they were busy but I didn't get to finish my question without him repeatedly interrupting.
I found the perfect piece and I called my husband, who was sitting in the car, to come in and look at what I found. He said we needed to go home and measure our hall first.
I asked the man was there a model number for it. I wanted to go home and then call him with my order after measuring. He was reluctant to give it to me, telling me it was "irrelevant to me." He said there was a number on the card. I asked if it was 67 since that's what I saw on the sale tag. He was snippy and said show me, so I did. He still wouldn't just out right give me the name or model number.
I told him I wanted to call the store with the number to identify the piece if it fit. He said how long was it going to take for me to decide and when I said as soon as I get home, he again would not tell me what I asked him for.
He said "I'll take your name." I didn't mind sharing my name but now he wants my phone number. I didn't ask him to followup with me I just wanted to call the store back and place my order if it fit my entryway. When I declined giving him my number he said to me right in front of my husband, "I don't know what your problem is lady you have an attitude." I was shocked! My husband said "You just lost a sale" the salesman said "I don't care" as he walked away. and so we walked out of the store.
The sales people do not work well together, even if thier sales are on commission you still should not be so rude to the customer or each other. You could see the competition between them, it was apparent to the customers.They are so fixated on staking thier claim on you as you walk in the store and then scramble off to claim the next person that they forget what real customer service is supposed to be like. I hope the owner reads this so he knows how his sales people treat...

We bought a sectional sofa from here and the material must have been dry rotted it started ripping on the sides of the cushion seats and the back also started ripping this happened a week after we received it! We called and went there to see what they would do about it the man that owned the place refused to take it back and give us a refund. His wife told us to bring all the ripped cushions in and she had her son replace the covers we were without seats for over two weeks. Anyway after we got them back about two months later they all started ripping again so we called and they said to come back and they gave us a bag of back covers to replace them next time ourselves! We just sold the sofa and gave the people the bag of covers and found there all backs no seat covers and they need them they are ripped I tried to send a message to you people to see how to get more covers for the seats and have got no response from you! Anyway now the couch won’t stay together it keeps coming apart everytime my husband lays on it. We can’t replace the torn backs with the covers they gave us because they are sewn on the couch! Also we bought a bed frame a nightstands headboard and footboard from here when they came a sat it up the slats they brought would not hold our mattress so they had to go back and rig some crap up to make the slats anyway because they weren’t good slats over a few years it ruined our new mattress making a huge hump in the middle of the mattress where there was no support so we had to replace a brand new mattress after 8 years because of the cheap slats they put our mattress on! Read moreWe ordered our two sofas in December for our great room. We were told that the sodas could be in within five to seven weeks. When seven weeks passed we had not heart anything about the status of our order so we visited the store. They said that it was now going to be sometime up to the 17th of February. We visited the store today, the 18th of Feb. because we had had no contact from the store. At the store a very nice clerk met us and tried to contact Lane the manufacturer of the sofas. No Luck (at 8:30 AM). The clerk said she would keep trying and would call later after she contacted Lane. When she called my wife to let her know the status she said Lane thought if was going to me made in North Carolina , but no, it is being made in Mississippi. So...... we still don't know the status of our order and no one but the clerk seems to care. We will post this complaint within 48 hours to the better business bureau of Beaufort County. unless we hear immediately when we will get our sofas.
