La Huasteca — Restaurant in Bluffton

This was our 1st time eating at this restaurant. The restaurant states authentic Mexican food. Even a customer said it was authentic. My hubby enjoyed the chicken enchiladas with red sauce. I really was looking for enchiladas that used Suisse (tomatillos). This restaurant does not use them. This would be a negative for me. The rice and black beans were good, but not great. I don't know what these clowns are talking about with the service being only "ok" or the food being bland or not authentic...that is absolutely not true! My husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight and our taste buds were blown!!! Amazing food and great service. Super disappointed especially after I left a tip for a order that I picked up. I ordered the tripa tacos which are usually sautéed and fried, when I open my box during my lunch break it's rubbery and flavorless smh. I have never received such a disappointing taco ever! This is my first and last time coming to this establishment smh I was told I had to ask for it to be hard, which is non sense and i never had to do! even if u google it l, it will tell u its sautéed...
