I LOVE this park. The Oscar Frazier park is one of my favorite places to visit in the Old Town Bluffton community, especially since I live only 1.5 miles down the road! I like to take my dog, a 2 year old Boxer to run and play here. There are two areas, seperated from each other, for dogs to play. One area is for small dogs and/or senior dogs and the other is for dogs over 50 lbs. I really appreciate the separated areas. All of the other dogs I've seen here have been good, well behaved dogs that play well with others. I have yet to see any issues and most other visitors have followed the rules other than the occasional person who does not pick up their dogs poop. The large dog area is very spacious and has plenty of room to run, C chase a ball or frisbee or whatever game your dog enjoys. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful and the area really gives off the "main Street, USA" or "American Dream" vibe. I highly recommend this park for anyone person and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was working the event today so in some ways I didn't have the chance to really enjoy it, but what a great place. Bad news first: the parking situation could use some improvement.
However, the park has three baseball diamonds, batting cages, a dog area, and the sort of grassy areas you can do outdoor meals on. It was a great time! There are shaded bleachers, but you'll probably be more comfortable with your own chair and an umbrella or tent.
If you're coming for a game, BE ADVISED: it is cash only and you may not bring a cooler or a cart inside. Please bring smaller bills if you can! We do have concessions and they were perfectly reasonable. You can't find a burger for $6 anywhere anymore.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $4 kids 6-17. Kids 5 and under get in free.
Come for the game, support...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOscar Frazier park is a great playground for young kids. There are swings, two different pieces of big playground equipment and several other smaller toys around the playground. The ground on the playground is the nice spongy rubbery material so no wood chips to get in shoes and a little bit of give when you fall, nice for little ones. The bathrooms are right there and easily accessible. There is almost no tree coverage so in the summer time it is hot. There is however a nice shaded picnic area right by the bathrooms and playground which is on a cement slab. There are water fountains as well. My kids love coming here. Even when it is crowded there are still enough toys for everyone to play on and have personal space. Plus the park is kept clean and well maintained. Close to the heart...
