Quaint place, great service, delicious food We dined here as a party of 4. The host was helpful and accommodating since we called the change the reservation a few times. We were seated in the back room which would be perfect for a large group but was also nice for us. We had 2 servers (Jon and Ginger) which we liked because they communicated well and we got great service. The burrata and octopus appetizers were great. Our friends got the Caesar salad which was a large portion and came with shrimp on it. The bread with oil and vinegar was fresh and had a nice chewy outside. I had the osso bucco (Ginger called it the “awesome” bucco) and it was amazing. The saffron risotto was lovely and balanced out the rich flavors of the meat. My husband had the spaghetti with clams and there was a good portion of clams. Our friends tried their meatballs and said they were great. The filet mignon our friend got was tender and had an amazing sauce. The owner was funny and inviting. Our servers never let us lack for anything and Ginger hand-stuffed olives with blue cheese for us! They made sure we were happy and accommodated all of our needs. It was a lovely dinner and an even more lovely evening.

Had a lovely lunch at Bricco, started off with a great Italian cocktail and warm bread. Being vegetarian, I got the caprese salad first, And for main dish the penne pizzaiola husband got the fish of the day cod with lemon and caper sauce. We both enjoyed our dishes, sever was great, atmosphere is lovely, the walls are adored with wonderful artwork, great lunch.

This is an authentic high end Italian restaurant with a super friendly owner and wait staff. The Italian dishes make me remember New York and New Jersey family restaurants. There is pizza available, of course, but try the specials. The accompanying photo is for group private dining but it indicates the restaurant style.

Based on prices prevalent today for food, I am not taken aback by those charged by Bricco. They are no different than some of the other "fine dining" Italian restaurants in the area of Hilton Head and Bluffton. So when various salads, all wonderful to the taste buds and made as they might be in Italy and featuring calamari, octopus, etc, if desired, I understand the pricing - to be smewhat high. Wonderful pasta entrees begin only $6 more than certain special salads not really served elsewhere in Bluffton or Hilton Head for the most part, and go up from there. But at least at Bricco, you know you are getting as close to the "real deal" as you can. This owner knows cooking Italian cooking and how to put a team together to not only satisfy your taste buds, but make you feel warm and comfortable to totally enjoy your experience. At first I was thinking the best of Bricco was the staff and I mean - all. Our waiter and others who came by to be certain all was good and the men and women helping them were wonderful. They all made you feel as if you were at their home and you were going to be comfortable, pleased and totally enjoying the food served. Bricc's is pasta "heavy" and that's OK. Let them show you through your taste buds, that not all pastas are equal. Their's is at the "top". Many pasta entrees are served a tad differently than in other fine Italian restaurants. I say they are seved the "Bricco way" and they are fantastic. You won't be tasting "the same old thing". More restaurants should follow this - if they could. But it's not easy. I don't think you learn to cook with the nuances I tasted that made Bricco's pasta servings so great easily as experience and love were added. Bricco's servels fish and other favorites and there are always chef's specials. So if your not up for pasta - don't shy away. This is not a very large "mechanically" run restaurant and that's good. Let the "chains" offer that. Briccos is certainly a big "plus" for...

This is a restaurant I used to love. I don’t any more and this is why. Last night we had dinner there with 4 couples (total of 10). I made this very special reservation a month ago specifically for the “wine room”. The owner told me the ONLY HE can approve the large round table in the wind room. We chose a date when that table was available. I reconfirmed our reservation in the wine room 2 days before our dinner. Can I just say that this was to be a very special dinner for the 10 of us. When we walked in Bricco’s owner says “sorry you are not in the wine room.” What? I personally talked to you and you assured me that you reserved this specific table for us and we chose a date that YOU told us was available. He shrugged his shoulders and took us to a long table that was shoved into a corner and very difficult to get into. Are you kidding me? It was so uncomfortable. I was so upset. WE WILL NEVER GO TO BRICCO AGAIN. You can’t trust the owner who promised that he made the correct reservation and would take special care of us. He just didn’t get it and he didn’t care that he made a BIG mistake. We never saw him the rest of the night. Oh he gave us dessert. Who cares. He destroyed our...
