As someone who has travelled to over 50 countries and almost all the states , I can honestly say this is the worst car rental center of any US airport I’ve been to. And I’ve had the same experience twice in 2 years, so it wasn’t a fluke.

I rarely post reviews but this place really pissed me off. Twice.

Apparently all rental car companies are now one, so prepare to stand in a massive line for Avis/Budget/Enterprise. Also be prepared to not be greeted, or smiled at, or acknowledged as a human. You will be offered insurance multiple times, and when you say you’re covered they ask what you have, and will confidently reply it doesn’t cover rental cars (mine does).

Next, go to the hot, sweaty garage and stand in another queue. If it’s busy, it’s 1-2 employees facing chaos. When they get to you, expect to get rushed to the first car available. Remember when you picked a car online? Yeah forget that. It was a charade; not even the class of car you picked matters.

The needle-bruised employee scans the car and says you’re good. But “hey, I see a scratch on the driver’s door and a dent in the tailgate!?!” “It’s in da system, ya feel me?” I guess I have to feel him.

Apparently the person at the exit gate is supposed to mark any damage you found, but they asked for my id then waived me through. No walkaround, no paperwork, no rental agreement. If I get pulled over, I guess the cop has to be patient while I search my email on my phone for something.

Returning the car is quick, thankfully. However those scratches and dents I saw when I picked up the car are still not acknowledged by an employee, nor is my fuel state on return. So I guess I have to cross my fingers and hope all those damages from previous renters are “in da...

Pathetic Covid superspreader Massachusetts Transit buses (they’ve done away with the individual rental company shuttles) to the BOS rental car center! Jammed in like sardines. So, I walk from Terminal A to the rental center. 8-10 minutes walking instead of 30-45 minutes on the bus. I travel to BOS a lot and always arrive at Terminal A. From the curb, you can see the rental center. If you take the bus, it goes from A to B to C to D to E and then north to a T transit station and then south to the rental car center. By about terminal C, your body is pressed up against others and all of the Covid precautions you, the airlines, and the airports have taken are for nothing. I took the Covid bus once and have been walking since. I usually have a carry-on bag only so it’s easy although it can be very cold outside. Or, if traveling with others, I go and have them wait for me at baggage claim. When dropping off, I do take the bus back because Terminal A is the first stop from the rental center. Good news is the process at the rental car center itself is always good! I would like to know the bureaucrats who made this highly irresponsible decision and apparently are oblivious to what they have done and why this hasn’t been a story on the news. Massachusetts is one of the most hyper-scared states when it comes to Covid yet their welcome to the State is a...

I had a one day trip for a funeral and Budget had the best rates.

Arriving to the rental facility was easy as the signage was easy to follow. Once at the center, getting to the Budget line was an easy process as well.

There was a line, however, all of the counter agents were moving swiftly so the wait wasn’t long. Once O got to the counter, I provided my license, the rep pulled my reservation, confirmed everything, I paid the deposit, got my keys and was on my way. Truly a smooth process. Beginning to end was less than 9 minutes.

After obtaining my key, I headed to the lot. Got to the spot I was advised to go to. keys were in the car and I was on my way.

As I entered the exit gate, the agent was very pleasant. She confirmed my identification and paperwork. Confirmed my options and I was on my way in under 3 minutes.

During my rental time I had no issues at all. All my paperwork was emailed to me and my charges were exactly as I had reserved. No surprises at all.

My drop off was even easier than my pick up. I pulled in, was directed to the drop off lane, parked, left the keys on the dashboard and was on my way. By the time I got to the airport shuttle my return receipt was in my email.

Smooth process. Good pricing. Great quality. Thank...

This place does the trick of course for convenience for people who are constantly flying in and out of there. It's organized but I find that there are very few people that you can communicate with. this particular day I rented with Payless which is as useless as they come there! I highly recommend that you use anybody other than Payless. On top of it I did have something stolen from my car in the few minutes that I left it. I did put a claim and it makes no sense but they said that it was never found. anyways the car was filthy when I was trying to get into it. This puts down Boston Logan return but it's actually me picking up the car and these are pictures from the new car I was picking up. I would recommend Avis, Budget and maybe Hertz.but don't think that you're going to get anybody who likes doing their job there. People seem very aggravated throughput the entire return center. If you read my review and this was good for you, I would greatly appreciate you 👍"liking" my post. Thank you!!! 👏😁

Just don’t go with DOLLAR, they literally scammed us. Do they even have a manager supervising ? Not a serious company. - They charged us $27 for gas after we made sure to full the tank at the shell gas station close from the car rental place, fully gas indicators and everything when we returned it. The employee didn’t bother to check that as we were there returning it. - They will show a price online to bait you but then they will show you the real price including insurance using legal technicisms to not show the Real price online to portray being affordable (We paid over $50 extra) - Employees drive fast and recklessly through the parking slot area giving such a bad impression of the company/the country to international visitors, they seem quite unorganized, probably the manager doesn’t care at all. - They handed us the car filthy dirty, didn’t bother to at least give it a quick clean before handing it to a client.
