this wasn’t fully my experience, but it happened to a table next to me. I watched the waitress drop the napkins on the table turn around and leave without acknowledging the guest, then drop the food, turned around and left without asking if he needed anything else. Never once did she check on him she just sat at the counter with what looked like the manager, and talked loudly and scrolled on her phone. THEN she flung a bag of trash and cardboard into a trash bin right in front of my table. The trash bin dust and air flung up to my nose. I was so mad!! She is Super unprofessional. She is that lady that sounded possibly Russian. I did make them aware of my annoyance. After that all the laughing joking and phone time was done and they surprisingly went back to work.
As for my experince, the server took my order quickly, dropped off my wings and wine. I had to ask for water, she dropped it off and it had no ice in it. I then had to ask for a straw, THEN never returned until after the food was gone That means no one cheked on me. Let's be clear there about 5 other people there, so it was not busy. Food was mediocre, it's an airpoert so I wasn;t expecting much. When she ws back Intold her that my wine glass tasted gross so i was drinking from a straw. Shen didn't offer to replace it. Read moreI personally love Harpoon and was thrilled to see it in my gate. I sat at the end of the bar and it all took a turn when the manager or shift leader showed up on 6/4/23 in the afternoon. She created an extremely negative environment that made me very uncomfortable. She was constantly belittling staff and making negative comments about everything possible and even had a sarcastic pop quiz. Employees looked embarrassed that I could hear all of these conversations as I was sitting right next to her. She looked for every opportunity to put staff down instead of teach them when needed. Everyone speaks about her as soon as she walks away. My personal favorite was when she was freaking out about silverware and started unloading it all onto the table, only to yell at an employee for not putting the silverware on napkins as she touched all of it with her bare hands.
She also yelled at someone for sitting down whilst doing a task she had done sitting down. She approached every employee interaction negatively except for when she wanted to talk about her new pet. She complained about literally everything possible. It was very uncomfortable to witness and I felt bad for the employees who you can tell have become used to this behavior.

Read moreI’ve been to this bar so many times over the years. I grew up in MA and harpoon means a lot to me because it reminds me of home now that I live out of state. My flight tonight was cancelled and then I was rescheduled 7 hours later so I decided to come here for a brew. The bartender was big guy. He threw a menu at me and I thought he was coming back to ask my order but instead he started literally sucking on a chicken wing he grabbed from the kitchen window in front of customers. It was very gross. As I was waiting for him to ask me for my order I was looking at him and he pulled the chicken wing out of his mouth and accused me of staring at him and yelled at me. Anyway. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a restaurant. Especially an airport bar and especially at an airport bar repping my favorite beer. I apologized for offending him and I left without ordering. But I had to let the manager know because I can’t be the only one that has been mistreated by this guy. I’m not sure if harpoon actually owns this place but there’s no way this beer brand would approve of an employee like this.
