UPDATE - 3/20/22:: the lounge near A7 is fine - nothing amazing. The āsatelliteā lounge near A18⦠W.T.Hā¦? Literally PACKED - shoulder-to-shoulder, food was scarce, SUPER not comfortable COVID-wise (even though itās just after the mask mandate was dropped - WAY too many people), and just overall chaotic and honestly, it smelled like BO nearly everywhere simply because the number of guests. (This lounge is currently ābeing upgradedā - but thereās no sign of what that means and only tiny areas are blocked. Hopefully thereās a secret area theyāre expanding intoā¦
Stop at the main lounge and plan time to walk to the higher # A gates if you need to. Not worth it here. āāāāā One of the better domestic clubs in terms of design, snacks, bar, etc. but it was WAY too crowded and felt a bit like it had been ālet goā - that is, the staff seemed like they couldnāt keep up, most of them seemed tired and grouchy, there were newspapers lying around randomly, luggage in the way, etc. For the cost to use this club - whether youāre paying for a day pass or have access through your credit card or frequent flier status - I definitely expected more and wouldnāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDespite holding a First Class ticket on a domestic Delta flight, I was surprised to discover that lounge access is not included. While most global carriers, and certainly Oneworld airlines on international routes, provide automatic lounge entry for business or first class passengers, major U.S. airlines have largely moved away from that standard. Delta now requires a separate Sky Club membership or a specific credit card just to step inside. The credit card gatekeeping feels out of place for a premium product and turns what should be a seamless experience into an unnecessary hassle. Delta markets itself as a premium, customer-minded airline, yet denying lounge access to its top-cabin passengers feels tone-deaf and far below international expectations. I expected a premium journey; instead, I got a reminder that Deltaās idea of āFirst Classā ends at the aircraft door.
Remember Terminal A is not connected to the rest of Boston airport airside so once in you are trapped in Delta Land.
My thanks go to the TSA staff who are still showing up and keeping passengers moving during the government shutdown, despite...

It was a nice and relaxing experience. Now, with the American Express Platinum Card, the cardholder gets complimentary access, the second guest pays $39. So, if you have someone you travel with a lot, get the additional card for $175 annual fee, IF YOU TRAVEL ALOT, so both can be complimentary access.
The food was fresh, drinks are included, unless you want top shelf alcohol, that is NOT INCLUDED and have to pay additional. Wifi was good, you had club attendants cleaning the area. Boston had clam chowder soup and Lobster bisque. The clam chowder was very good. Overall, it was a very nice experience.
The only thing that bothered me, and this has NOTHING TO DO with Delta or Delta Sky Club, were people looking at my wife and I as of we didnāt belong there. Yeah, those people were VERY OBVIOUS. I mean, we were the only brown people there, but, I had every right to be there and will ALWAYS be there. Just because of that, Iām going to...
