This is a wonderful bookstore, larger than I imagined. As my daughter would say, this place is a vibe. High ceilings, tons to explore. The staff are friendly and there is a great selection as well. They actually sell thrifted clothes there as well and a small collection of purses and shoes. The bookstore has a good selection and an area where they sell gifts, which include tote bags, candles, stationary, and some kids stuff. There is even a rack with quite an array of vinyl records. My kids usually get bored in these places quickly, but they spent quite a while looking around and exploring. A part of the store can be rented for events and they have a big pull down screen.
Anyway, the best part of it is that this is actually a non-profit organization employing at-risk teens to teach business and entrepreneurial skills. So all the profits from the book store and events etc go directly back into the program.
They rely entirely on donated books. So feel free to drop your unwanted books of with them.
Additionally, they have items for sale that are made by other...
