I love my bag! I carried an old hobo bag for years because I could never find a crossbody I liked in any store. I found Stitch & Tickle at a local crafts show, and was immediately drawn to the softness of the leather and the comfort of carrying. Because I was so wary of buying something I would be disappointed with, I tried on every bag she had, again and again, in every size and configuration, (and she was so patient and helpful - she did not want me to buy anything that wasn't perfect) until I was embarrassed not to buy something! She offered to make a strap just the right size for me. The bag is beautiful, and has a soft drape that fits so nicely against my hip when walking, plus a nice soft strap that caresses my shoulder instead of digging in, even when full. My 3rd Stitch and Tickle bag in the soft, supple leather that wears so well and conforms to the body. Sophie was so helpful during the process of deciding which leather and color and Ocean is a lovely blue, a good neutral. The redesign of the Bolsa with a zipper closure works great at keeping the contents more secure as well as providing some structure. The outside pocket is great for a phone or sunglasses while the key fob provides immediate access to those keys which can be hard to find in larger bags. I wandered by this shop when I was in the South End and couldn't help but go in after peeking in the windows. It has beautifully curated selections of handmade goods by talented artists. I left with some gorgeous finds, including a now well-loved handbuilt mug by one of the great potters whose work they carry, along with a lovely carved wooden spatula and a pair of knit metal (!!!) earrings created using Viking metalwork techniques that the owner told me about.
