First of, let me just say that if you need awesome and beautiful frame then come to Point of U!

I have spent numerous of money on glasses frames and sometimes finding limited edition frames can be quite difficult. But when I step into Point of U on Newbury St, Ahmed greet me with a very warm welcome. He run this business with a passion and dedication to help everyone who walked into the store and find the perfect frame that suitable for their face.

Ahmed is great to do business with, the process was simple and the whole experience wasn’t even rush at all. You definitely have a private experience shopping for frames. I am very indecisive for frames, so i came in twice and happily walked out with DITA Schema-Two frames. Which was Awesome!

First time I came, i tried on a buns of frame, Ahmed look at my face and gave me some suggestions but also help me narrow down my search since I do not want a duplicate of what I currently have in my collection. I mostly wear suit to work so he help me find the perfect frames that suit my taste for daily with suits & ties attire.

Please come to the store if you want to experience the proper guidance for sunglasses & eyeglases frames since you might find yourself spending hours looking and trying on couples. With that being, the process was never rush and eventually you walked out happy knowing you have been helped and pick the proper frames for yourself.

This is an amazing store with outstanding selection of independent brand, and I am tired of big corporate brands name. Look for independent brand, and you will have unique piece that doesn’t look like everyone else.

I was wearing my old glasses when I first walked in, the frame was already tilted. Ahmed, the store owner, offered to fix it for free without me even buying anything there yet. He has awesome taste, found 3-4 glasses that fit my face shape right away, super efficient (and I have a diamond face which is hard to find glasses that looks good!). There is no pressure of buying, and you can take as long as you need to figure out what you like best. What I valued most about this place is that Ahmed would give his most honest opinion. I was debating between two frames, one is around 500 dollars and another is around 300 dollars. I personally thinks the 300 dollar one fits me better, but the 500 dollar one has an interesting frame shape that I've never tried before. After a long time of going back and forth, Amhed said: "If I'm honest with you, I say the 300 one fits you better." I was happy that our choices are the same, tho it was a surprise that he would recommend the lower price one. Ahmed is a kind and amazing owner. When we walked into the store the first time, even though he was busy helping out other customers, he greeted both me and my wife warmly with enthusiasm. We were immediately impressed with his passion for glasses.

Ahmed has the best selection of the glasses in terms of quality. You cannot compare the quality of the cheaper online stores or stores like Warby Parker. Those cheaper brands sell plastic or metal frame with poor quality. Ahmed’s selection uses high quality metal like titanium. These frames are handmade with high-quality materials.

When my lenses were first made, Ahmed examined the lenses himself and it wasn’t up to his standards. He immediately returned it and worked with the manufacturer until he is satisfied with the glasses. You know you are in good hands when the owner cares this much about each pair of glasses he sells.
