Maverick Suites — Hotel in Boston

So I need to start off by saying I thought this felt a little like a scam, but I was planning a trip to Salem and they were BY FAR the most affordable, so here we are. The picture that was shown on the website was very pretty and cookie cutter, I thought “there’s no way we just got an apartment for 700 for 2 nights, 10 minutes from Salem and it looks like this”. I had a couple questions and every time I called the service line, somebody was there to help. No hold, no robot, an immediate person who was extremely helpful. We were sent directions 24 hours before we checked in, and it had everything in it. It told us how to get there (the address did not pop in to gps), it told us the code to get in, and everything went off without a hitch. We got inside and it was clean, beautiful, simple, and had everything we needed for cooking, watching tv, taking showers, etc. (looked just like the pictures) we had a designated parking spot, and it was Ana amazing experience all the way through. Zomar the person who answers the call, is the rudest person to answer a call in hospitality industry. I have not even checked in and I am already not gettIng a good feeling. There is no receptionist to check you in. No facilities to hold on to your luggage. Each time you call the early check in policy changes. It’s too late for me to look for a new place to live. The whole arrangement is inconvenient and completely not customer centric, ill trained and rude staff answering calls. They might even shutdown the phone service! Update: absolutely NO to any kind of early check in request. Internet doesn’t work, tv doesn’t work, phone connection weak, basically other than bed and bathroom nothing works. The concierge seeing nothing works, first committed a certain refund, then retracted :) I have never come across such a dodgy place, location is the only plus. Horrible experience DO NOT BOOK HERE!. I spent several days before arrival date calling and emailing everyday trying to speak to someone about a question but no one ever answered the phone or called me back, took them two days to answer me back the day before arrival with an email and when I emailed them back for more information they never answered. The site we even booked through tried calling them but again no answer. We ended up canceling our reservation through our booking site and couldn’t find a hotel so last minute so we had to drive home. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service because there wasn’t any at all, except our booking site received an answer when they denied our full refund.
