Seed: Recreational Cannabis Dispensary Boston — Attraction in Boston

I use to love SEED! I have been coming here for 3 years. Unfortunately over time the prices haven’t really reflected anything worth buying. It seems the prices haven’t stayed the same or have been kept high but the product doesn’t reflect the price.

The freshness of the affordable flower is hit or miss at times as well. Some purveyors will let you know or warn you before buying but some are unaware.The smoking experience being rough and dryness of flower at time of purchase is a reason why I worry when making purchases.

They also don’t accept an exchange or return in store after purchase (at all, I just left the line and wanted to exchange before leaving the store.)

The newer website they use for their place is also finicky, the availability of products is often inaccurate as well. Sometimes you can’t select a pick up time. Most times you have to load the website through chrome to work and the pictures that are online aren’t updated to match the products you buy.

The only thing they have managed to keep is a good staff and good customer service.

I would say NETA is the better choice of the two when purchasing flower and it’s an alternative for a nearby dispensary.

I have never been to a dispensary nor used any products that are THC/CBD.

My timing on going for the first time was of course perfect because SEED was celebrating their one year anniversary. Lots of music, a little overwhelming at first for me because I 100% did not know what to expect.

Everyone from the front door to purchasing were extremely kind and helpful. The associate helping me was Bill (I hope I heard right- music was a little loud for me 🥲) and Bill was very helpful. I knew I wanted edibles since I had recently tried one my roommate gave me (she purchased hers from SEED), I definitely cannot smoke (seriously I can’t figure it out) and the smell from the plant being burned makes me sick (weed smell is not for me- gives me migraines).

I bought two THC/CBD chocolate bars (dangerous because they’re tasty but I know to eat one square), and some edible chews (blackberry). My goal is really to be relaxed so Bill recommended the chews, but for fun I also purchased something with THC 😅

I've been going to this dispensary since day one. For me it has been one of the best dispensaries I've ever been to the staff is knowledgeable friendly and always very helpful. But over the last 2 months I found myself not being able to find very good product there. I typically spend about $100 per visit but lately I find it hard to even spend $30 in the building. And that is not because of the staff it is because of the lack of product. For 2 months now we've been reading the what's available. Also gone are the variety of multipacks that you used to be able to purchase. I enjoy the multipacks cuz it gives me a chance to try different things at reasonable cost. But if this doesn't change soon I may have to find a different supplier for my taste. I implore you to fix the computers and bring up the stock levels back up to what we're used to having. I understand that they're trying to open up venues.
