The "Center" (BCPA) was literally built - brick by brick & dollar by dollar - thanks to the fundraising efforts of Bowie, MD small businesses, artists, and musicians, organized by the BRAVA committee. Sadly, around 2014, the Center somehow devolved into a bloated, pretentious, logistically impossible venue with Hitlerian rules & restrictions...
...But BCPA is once again supporting the local musicians and independent artists of the DMV area! Mr. Dwyer is working hard to promote alternative musical and theatrical shows for the City of Bowie, despite 2 years of Covid lockdowns and difficult governmental limitations. And it was So Awesome, Amazing, Fantastic, etc. It took me way back to the Past of time with my Mom and her LP's and also her 45's. As if she was there with me singing along and enjoying herself like I did with my Church Group, Kingdom Care Senior Village.
