Quickway Hibachi — Restaurant in Bowie

My first and last time at this location. The young ladies at the front store do not take this job serious. They messed up the order of lady the lady in front of me. After waiting long and the lady realized that her order was wrong. The cashier then proceed to stay yea I couldn’t hear. So now that lady had to wait for her correct order to be made. While not to long after my order was complete and I asked for my order and another young girl in the front packing the food in the bag told me no I can’t have my food until the lady in front me gets her order. Now everyone in the line was filling aware that a mistake was made and our food was just sitting out waiting for the cook to finish make the lady’s meal all over. I asked again for get my food as it will get cold just sitting there the staff was very disrespectful and dismissed and said no. I laughed it off has she was very unprofessional and it did not make any sense what she was saying. Later on as she finally decided to pack my food in the bag she Knowles try to leave out my part of my order and laughed when I brought it to her attention. I then asked for some duck sauce with my hand out she proceeded to by pass me and stick it in the bag. It was overall a horrible experience! I will not be spending my money here. The food was tasteless and the service was so poor. This is the young lady in the front. Keep in mind no one apologised to the lady in front of me for messing up her order and for the long wait. The rest of customers we forced to wait for them to correct (I mean cook a whole meal) before we can get our food which were already packed out and sitting on the counter top. They attitudes were just nasty. This was during the day not rush hour. Also a guy came from the back picking at his nose while customer were waiting to get their food packed in a bag....

This place looks well maintained. The cashier who was likely a manager appeared friendly. What turned me off was...i saw how the cashier went from handling money in his bare hands TO assisting the cooks on the grill never washing or putting gloves on in between. Worse, there was a small, small portion of cooked chicken sitting really far in the corner/edge of the grill. It looked dry and I thought it was going to be tossed. While this chicken sat he cleaned the grill part near it removing caked up grease etc. The cooks were cooking fresh chicken next to it. After the new chicken was finished the cook put the OLD chicken on my plate. I asked the manager why would you give me old dry chicken when you just had new fresh chicken prepared? That .... ....had the nerve to say the chicken was fine it was jus cooked. How? I watched it sit. I watched the grill area by it be cleaned. Why would I want that? He offered me my money back and I took it and left. I'll never return because it's the principle. He stood over the cooks terrified to death they would give you too much of anything on your platter. He wanted to serve old chicken and thought it was sanitary to handle dirty money then...

Food was good but this place was our very first introduction to racism. It was unacceptable. One of the food server looked at my kid and asked me if he was to put our order together of separate?! I asked him three times what he was referring to? He kept saying the same thing. I kept my cool and told him not to talk to clients that way unless they want to loose business. When I got home. I called to store and spoke to the manager who was apologetic and said maybe the staff did not understand me, so I replied no because I spoke to him in Spanish. He was disrespectful and that is not okay. I don't often post regarding what happened at places I go but i really did not appreciate what happened. I feel sad that still nowadays we experience racism between us people of other races. I am a true believer of peace and happiness but this encounter made me rethink my peace specially that I had to explain to my kid that technically that is was a typical ignorant would do. Anyways the food was good but I would not recommend because of the so uncalled...
