Read moreI go to this library because it’s convenient and very close to my work. It’s a nice library, but there’s always a lot of LOUD teenagers whenever I go in the afternoon. I understand that it’s right next to a high school, and that teens need a place to hang out that’s cheap safe. I don’t mind them being there, but it’s just so loud. The very first time I came here the security guard was yelling at the kids. Not to mention the people that play videos on their phones/ computers loudly or take calls on speakerphone. I also wish there was another bathroom - at this time the downstairs restrooms are closed, and there are only two...
Read moreThe Bowie Public Library has is pros and cons. For starters, it has been a great resource for reading materials, computer access, music, and DVD movies for my family for many years. Unfortunately, some of the staff can be rude, particularly in the children's area. There are many children there with no parental supervision, which can cause unnecessary chaos at times, usually during the week, after 3pm. Overall, the location is convenient and the reading materials are extensive. Great for a...
