Biome Slow Craft Collective — Attraction in Bozeman

What do you say about a place that’s changed the course of your life and by osmosis, changed your children’s? There aren’t words for this. I’ve brought friends to the Breath, Ecstatic Dance and Sing and am watching them transform with me. We’re calmer, braver, more in tune with each other and our families. I’ve become a good listener again and have stepped back into the parts of myself that I cherish the most. I’m accepted as I am. Doing yoga and classes in other spaces was anxiety provoking because if I couldn’t do this yoga trench right, if my tummy gurgled, if I song off key… these were the thoughts that kept me up at night. The competition and fear of rejection pushed me further into an internal spiral of “you’re not good enough. See. Everyone else is thinking it too”. At Biome, all of those thoughts are moved from the internal to the external. I stopped picking my skin. I’ve been eating better and have been listening to my body. I’m calm when my children are in the midst of chaos (they’re two and five), blipping on social media for a second to say hi and then putting it down because I have things I find more enjoyable, when a friend needs help I’m able to help without becoming so upset that I make things worse, I’m standing up for myself calmly and kindly. My work productivity has skyrocketed. A lot of this I’ve learned, is simply from not judging myself. When you stop judging yourself, you stop judging those around you and allow everyone the grace of growth. Biome has given me and my friends space to be human again. What does that look...

During our stay in Bozeman, my partner and I had the pleasure of attending one of the most welcoming and fun events we've ever been to. The pride roller disco had a nice large space inside where people could skate or blade and a photo booth area, lounge area, and food trucks outside. Biome nailed it with the beautiful Summer evening! Not to mention the decor.

We ended up visiting the shop the next day where Dennae had the most incredible collection of local and distant artists (her own work was also stunning). She was so knowledgable about every piece of art and craft she had in her shop - You could really tell she unconditionally cared and that her passion is to share art and support artists. We can't wait to visit Bozeman and Biome again and hopefully catch another...
