BUYER BEWARE!
Avoid this spa seller at all costs! My experience was nothing short of a nightmare.
Justin (salesperson) was a different person pre-sale to post-sale. Expect whatever it takes to get you to purchase their spa but know, it's all an act of manipulation singularly aimed at financial gain. Worse, it appears to be their business model, as the owner is equally complicit. This business does NOT care about the customer. Sign a contract and find out or heed my advice and run!
Most importantly, do NOT utilize Justin's referral to Nick Jones with CA Coast Construction for spa installation. Nick is completely unreliable, does shotty work, and ultimately ran off with my money. During the course of my project, he lost his license for at least a month due to related concerns from other clients.
When I reached out to Justin and the company to inform them of the various issues with their exclusive contractor referral, they took zero accountability. Justin heartlessly told me I should have done better research and it's not his problem. The owner refused to talk to me at all. He allegedly "looked into the matter" by "consulting" Nick and determining it wasn't an issue. According to my understanding, they continued to refer additional customers to Nick following this event.
Meanwhile, I bought a spa in July and continue to have a giant hole in December (see picture).
The parent company (in MN) was equally unhelpful.
This company clearly prioritizes profit over ethics, Spare yourself the stress and find a seller...
Read moreNice to see the product in person. Friendly during the sales process, but after that all customer service ends. Any promises are shallow at best. We received our spa with good care from the factory, but Alex and staff were lacking in customer care/service surrounding basic questions prior to delivery and addressing missing accessories included in the sale (steps or starter kit). No follow up to phone calls that were taken “We’ll call you back...” . Talked to Master Spa factory service and they said accessory beyond the spa and cover were items the dealer is responsibility for in the transaction.
Fair warning: Be careful working with this dealer. Take time to clarify how items would be delivered. Who is the responsible party in delivering the items and more importantly define timelines with dates noted on all contracts.
It should be noted that the factory side of this transaction was much more organized and professional. The spa itself is very nice in the short time...

Husband and I went yesterday, the final day of their sale, to check things out.
2 sales associates were already helping other customers, so Alex, the store manager, begins to help us. With that said, one of the other customers and us teamed up to hear Alex's Sales Pitch about Master Spas.
And what a Sales Pitch it was. He explained everything in detail to the difference in spas and their jets, filtration, efficiency, chemicals, critter abatement, etc. It lasted a good 20 minutes.
Me - I'm all in. I already picked out the one I wanted. :)
My Husband - Always skeptical of these Sales Pitches. This is an off-brand manufacturer which increases his skepticism.
So we step outside to talk and start Googling Master Spas and we found out that these spas are highly rated and the company is BBB accredited with great ratings. Yes, there are some complaints about there, but what company is perfect?
We come back in and Alex was busy in the office, but the other associates stepped right in to make sure all of our questions were answers. We were never ignored, but we weren't hounded, and I hope you know what the difference is. There was no pressure to buy whatsoever.
So we bought a mid-size, mid-grade spa - the one that I wanted. We got a great deal and financing was easy.
This was...
