My pawson’s Disney!! He makes so many pawfriends! Perfect place to take your pet and not have to worry about them running off. Only issue I personally have is when people bring small children or strollers. Wish some would understand that not all pets like children. And it’s a place for my kid who is my pet to enjoy. I’m certain that if I took my pet to the playground they would make a big deal and kick me out.
Place is completely fenced in, and dived into 2 sections; large dog and small dog. Make sure you bring water for your pets. I fill the empty 1 gallon Arizona ice tea containers I usually get at Walgreens. During the summer I freeze a couple with water and by the time we’re at the park it’s perfect and cold for all dogs to share. Very durable containers and I love drinking the original contents!

Large and small dog sides are equally huge. Doggie bags and trash cans are provided so no excuse for leaving it! See the Forest Preserve website to download the required forms to be signed by your vet and accepted by the Forest Preserve to get your key. The gate can only be opened with an up to date key and is replaced every October. I have had the best luck to see the most dogs when I brought my dogs here around 6 on weekdays and 2pm on...
Read moreYes there is a membership fee but it is well worth it. The park is part of the forest preserve or adjacent to it so plenty of parking. The dog area is HUGE! There are clumps of trees for the dogs to play around ( not just an empty field), picnic tables, and a little path by the fence if the dogs like to lead you or play with you. My dogs were exhausted from fun . Incidentally the people who come here love their dogs as much as you do so lots of conversation. There is an adjacent area for other...
