Every time we go here we have an issue. The first time the guy working the drive thru just could not get our order right. it was our first time going there and we ordered 2 smoothies for my husband and two for our sons. After we ordered each one he would ask do you mean this one and it was different than what we said, but we corrected him and he repeated our order correctly back to us. Then when we got to the window and he had our order wrong. we told him what we wanted but while they were supposedly making them we got asked three or four times what we ordered. We were there for like 30 minutes. Then when they give us the drinks and reciepts they only give us three smoothies in the wrong sizes and the reciept only had three smoothies on it. We told them and Manger said she'd give us a refund for the wrong size and we had to pay for the missing one which is fine but like you had us wait for like 30 minutes trying to get our order right you couldn't have just given the kids smoothie for free. Then yesterday we went back cuz the smoothies were actually good and figured everyone's new and makes mistakes and ordered two bannana cinnamon smoothies the guy asked if we wanted chocolate in both which was a little weird because that one doesn't say it comes with chocolate but we said yes because chocolate is delicious with bannanas but when we got our smoothies they both tasted completely different and were completely different colors. They were also not good at all. Way too much cinnamon. The drive thru experience was horrible again btw the same guy was working and he said order when your ready but disappeared when my husband went to order for 6 minutes then he asked If he was ready to order, my husband ordered the smoothies then disappeared again and said he was still trying to find them. we called the manager and told her our issues and she nicely said that everyone's new that they've been making mistakes all day and that they could remake the smoothies if we come back with the smoothies. Read moreI went to Smoothie King on March 30th in 159th Tinley Park. I was waiting in the drive through for about 10minute. The worker responded after I said hello, and said it would be a few minutes. Then 10minutes later I said hello again and a man responded with an attitude saying she told you to come in because something wasn’t working with taking drive through orders. I informed the worker that the lady didn’t say that else I would have come in. Then out of nowhere it magically worked and I was able to place my order at the window. The young lady gave up our drinks and my daughter looked at her’s and the top had an obvious long black hair which could not possible had been missed prior to giving to us. Very nasty, so we pulled over came inside and I asked for the manage, another woman worker said the manager went to another location. She offered to remakes them, I informed her I would like my money back. She stated they couldn’t do refunds because the manager was gone. I said this is ridiculous, no one knows how to do a refund. Then I asked for the number to corporate office, no one knows the number. I said well I don’t want anything from here because first it means you all are not clean, second no one has gloves on and nothing on their head to prevent hair from falling into food. I informed the lady we’ll call your manager to explain how to do a refund. She went to the back, she came back then she call herself going through the process of giving me a refund. I checked my account 2 days ago and still no refund that I filed a claim because she lyied. Then after she was supposed to have given a refund I asked for the managers name and her name, she stated they can’t give out there names. I said this is really ridiculous. Read moreOrdered a smoothie bowl that arrived to me (15 min from the time stamp on the label) totally liquified and barely half full. Called for a refund and was told to bring the bowl back in. I explained that I’m at home with my toddler and ordered the bowl so I’d have something to eat while I made lunch for her. Stephanie the store manager didn’t care and told me I could bring it in at a later time then. Like I have nothing better to do than run back and forth to smoothie king. I asked for the owners info and she refused to give it to me telling me “that’s why they hire managers”. Her attitude was beyond awful. Her tone not even apologetic or empathetic. And the product was soupy & inedible. I had to call my husband at work and ask him to come back home so I could get a $12 refund of my lunch and still not even have anything to eat. I will not go back to this location. Really horrendous how your store manager treats people who are paying for these high priced smoothies. After seeing many businesses struggle & shut down in this economy, you’d think you’d have a little bit better of a customer service centric mindset towards your patrons.
