Beware of this Popeye's location in Tinley Park on 159th St just east of Harlem Ave. While in the drive thru, I ordered three separate 3pc chicken meals (all legs). When ordering the third meal, I was told that they were all out of legs. This seemed odd for a Saturday night around 430pm considering it's dinner time. I asked how long it would take for legs to be available and she said about 25 minutes I paid for my 2 meals and then drove around and parked. I went inside and observed that every tray was full of both spicy and mild chicken and that all the trays contained many legs. There were other workers that were about to take my order but then the lady that took my drive thru order noticed me and left the drive thru lane to take my order. I attempted to order a three piece meal (all legs) and she refused my order and advised me that she had already sold me six legs. She told me that she wouldn't sell me all leg meals because there were customers that were ordering bucket meals. I looked around the store and said where are these so called customers and she replied that she needed legs in case they came in to order food. This is the same store that refused to sell me the same three wing meal that I've been ordering for over 30 years because she said there was a wing shortage. I've since ordered that meal at multiple Popeye's and they have no clue about a wing shortage. Half the time that I order food here the food is cold and they are repeat liars. I have been a good paying customer at this location for over 5 years but I am done with giving them my business. Cold and over priced food and employees that lie and disrespect you. They don't deserve a rating at all but I'm forced to give them a 1...
Read moreSubject: Disappointing Experience at Popeyes Chicken
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Popeyes Chicken location. On my recent visit, I took my grandson, who is autistic, and it is essential that his food is prepared according to his specific needs. I clearly communicated these needs to the cashier, who even read the order back to me. Unfortunately, after a long wait in line, our order was not only incomplete but also incorrect.
My grandson requested a plain chicken sandwich; however, it arrived with sauce all over it. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, I returned to the counter to rectify the issue. Instead of receiving assistance, I was met with resistance and was blamed for the mistake. The staff showed a lack of accountability, dismissing the error and apologizing to the customers in line for the inconvenience I supposedly caused.
I felt frustrated and disheartened by the way I was treated, especially since I had to wait even longer to resolve the situation. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was surprised to learn that the individual who had initially taken my order was, in fact, the manager. This type of service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your establishment.
I believe it is crucial for management, particularly Bianca, to improve customer service and set a positive example for her staff. Additionally, I recommend that further training in conflict resolution be provided to ensure that situations like mine do not repeat in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I hope necessary improvements will be made to enhance the experience for all customers.
Sincerely, Unsatisfied &...
Read moreOrdered a chicken sandwich and Frozen Mango lemonade and was given a melted frozen drink. I told the drive thru cashier my drink is melted. She said the machine was resetting. I said OK thats fine, but I don't want this it's melted do you have something else. She repeated, this time with a major attitude and showing teeth (I guess to show me she meant business lol) that the machine was resetting. Now im pissed off, what am I supposed to do with this information? She didn't mention the machine was resetting when I ordered the frozen drink or even offer me something else after she saw it was resetting, am I suppose to just deal with it and take a melted drink, I want what I paid for. Once again I said to her it's melted, I don't want it. Nastily she says, you want a refund. I looked at her like excuse me. I had to compose myself because she was two seconds from getting cursed out, but I'm trying to do better, lol. I got my refund from another employee, as the rude lady hid behind the drive thru window, I guess I pissed her off, oh well. I don't know why common sense seems to be in short supply these days. I will not give them anymore business, they are fast, but the customer service and food quality is horrible. Also the chicken sandwich was nasty, I should've got my money back for that as well... but I digress. Do yourself a favor and go to chick- fil- a better food and service lol. I should have...
