Taco Pros in Tinley Park offers a familiar take on fast-casual Mexican dining, with a clean and modern space that feels a step above the average taqueria. The décor is crisp and thoughtfully styled — definitely a highlight — and the dining area was spotless during our visit. Food-wise, I went with the ground beef tacos and a protein bowl with steak. Both were fine — consistent with what you’d expect from any standard Mexican restaurant. No surprises, but no disappointments either. If you’re craving something simple and reliable, you’ll probably be satisfied. Staffing seemed a little green, with a few new employees unsure about the ordering system. We did run into a small hiccup when servers mistakenly brought someone else’s order to our table. They quickly corrected it, though, and overall service was reasonably fast. The drink options were solid — from fountain sodas to bottled water and chilled beverages. Parking was hassle-free, with a decent amount of spots available even during a busy dinner hour. Taco Pros is likely still finding its rhythm as the team settles in, but if they tighten up service and build on the strong ambiance, they could be one to watch. For now, it’s a nice, clean place for classic Mexican fare — nothing fancy, but dependable.

Decided to try out the $1 tacos since their grand opening suited by a gentleman at the register which was Indian also a few Indians in the back making tacos but OK whatever I tried various tacos on their menu. The menu is very small and very basic with basic menu items. The tortillas were very warm close to cold steak was pretty chewy each piece but didn’t give me the issue with showing it for more than six seconds sauces were pretty good, not the best, but OKchicken tacos were all right. Shrimp was extremely small and very flavourless. What really shooked me was the horchata was 4 bucks for a 8oz cup of horchata that’s crazy. I’d rather go somewhere authentic like EL Fugeo Mexican street food were food isn’t made out of a bag triple the size drink for the same price.

The establishment's authenticity is questionable, with limited representation of Mexican culinary traditions beyond the kitchen staff. The quality of the steak, which is not skirt steak, is subpar. The tacos, priced at $3.95 each, are considered overpriced for their size. The overall dining experience is positioned between Taco Bell and Chipotle in terms of quality, and the food is deemed mediocre. Given the availability of alternative local options, this establishment is not recommended.

My mom went in today, first time customer, and ordered a taco unaware of the two tacos for $4.99 deal. She was shopping next door and walked in, not seeing the promo on the glass. After she purchased one taco for almost $4.50, the woman and co-worker declined to adjust the order (she offered to pay the difference since she hadn’t realized the promo for today, not to mention sometimes we don’t realize what day it is so having the person taking orders mention daily specials should be a standard practice especially in a newly opened business) since the woman at the counter declined to mention the promotion while she was ordering. Even if it’s on the glass, do your due diligence so that customers will return, now whether or not the food is good this is her experience that she will share when people mention your establishment to her. Seeing as you’re new, I would think customer service would be taken more seriously to ensure long term...

Absolutely Amazing! Taco Pros in Tinley Park is hands down one of the best spots for authentic, flavorful Mexican food in the area. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and the service is fast, friendly, and efficient. I tried the steak tacos and the protein bowl—both were absolutely packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The tortillas are fresh, the meat is juicy and seasoned just right, and their salsas? Incredible. You have to try the green sauce! The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and everything tastes homemade with real care. You can tell this place puts pride into every plate. It’s the kind of spot you keep coming back to again and again. Highly recommend Taco Pros to anyone who loves great food and good vibes. A hidden gem in Tinley Park!...
