We met the BCC catering staff at a wedding expo and we were so excited to find a caterer who could accomplish the tricky task of providing off site plated catering at a venue without a full service kitchen. Bethany's leadership and effectiveness in executing a perfect wedding dinner is unmatched to any other catering manger we met with, we knew from day one we were in good hands. The head chef Shawn created dishes that our guests are still raving about. I was so impressed, with just a warmer and sink, all of the meals came out hot and fresh. My family had Thanksgiving dinner here smorgasboard style. For service the assistant waiters were excellent as were the deserts. However, the vegtables, even the turkey legs tasted terrible as they were dried out as well as tasteless. There was also a trout selection that was dried out and tasteless. Generally the offerings had the look of leftovers. My small families share came to $240.00 - too much for the overall food quality we had available to us. The Bridgeport Conference Center was a great venue! It was easy to find, tucked just behind a shopping center and some gas stations. There are plenty of rooms available in various sizes, making it a flexible space for different types of events. The facilities are clean and modern, and I was especially impressed by the large, well-maintained restrooms — definitely a plus for a busy event. The boxed lunch provided was tasty and refreshing.
