WOW! Work Out World of Brockton — Attraction in Brockton

This has to be one of the worst gyms I have ever been to. The only reason I go here is because it is the closest gym to where I reside and its 24 hours, which is convenient for my work schedule. The staff here are all very lazy . They stand around the front desk conversing with one another like its high school and don't even pay attention to their own rules. Posted on every corner of this gym it states "Do not wear work boots, jeans, large jewelry, do not bring gym bags on floor, re-rack weights" so on and so forth. What do you see? People dressed in jeans, people wearing work boots, some guys have on huge chains and are dressed like they're going to the club and there are gym bags on the floor. How can you have rules, but not abide by them? What is the point of having staff when they are not enforcing the rules? And for the gym being clean or people re-racking their weights the only person I see actually doing their job to keep the gym clean is the housekeeping staff other than that everyone else is just pointless to have around. Also there are times when my boyfriend and I have gone and he goes over to a machine and some person will come along and rudely say "I'm on that machine" but yet they're also on three other machines. Please tell me how that is fair? your body can not be in three places at one time. Do you think the staff speaks to these people? of course not. Then you have the group of people who set up shop right in the middle of everyone by the mirrors and train like they're trying out for the Olympics. They are also using every machine and they're doing activities of which should be performed in an open field such as a soccer field instead of taking up the whole gym so nobody can get around them. Whoever runs this gym needs to seriously think about their staff and rules and also look into updating it because its less than...

Over all its a good gym. Gets the job done there are things that bother me but i over look them because the reason i am there is to work out not perfection. Most of the staff keep to them selves but i have encountered a couple staff members who are extremly rude when i asked them simple questions. In the women shape room seems like no one cleans up after themselves i literally pick up brown napkins from the floor that dont belong to me because it disturbs me when im trying to do my execersies and my feet are slipping on napkins that were left behind. lastly tey didnt have a weight scale and when i asked for one the front desk receptionist gave me a attitude and told me that a member took the scale thats why they dont have one. I understand its sad that someone would take a scale but i shouldnt have to be held responsible for someone elses action. I pay a monthly payment to be at a gym that should be fully equipped mind you the next day they put a scale next to the front desk. i mean i go daily and get my work out done so at the end of it all its not...

I joined this establishment over a year ago. I canceled my membership in May of 2017.I went to the Brockton WOW and upon requesting my membership was given a form with instructions on how to cancel. I called the telephone number on the form and was told to fax this form to them. I faxed this form to them the same day from my office fax, to make certain the fax went through. Work out world continues to withdraw the membership fee from my account. Unfortunately I am unable to find this form to confirm the fax number. The manager Janice who I spoke with was not very understanding and proceeded to tell me that I never canceled my membership. I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the customer service I received. The problem remains to be unresolved and I have no other choice but to place a stop payment with my bank for which I will be charged to do.
