I gave Them one star cause zero stars was not an option. I checked in to the super 8 motel and understand that it’s not a Quality hotel like the holiday inn or the conference inn. I was not staying at the motel 6 cause the last time I stayed there I came down with conjunctivitis. When I entered the room there was a musty smell like a moldy carpet which I brought to the attention of the staff, they said that was the only room So at that my girl and I decided to make the best of it considering we were there for work and we work late. The next day check out is at 12, noon, they start banging on the door at 9:30 which I thought was crazy, I notified the attendant that we were staying another night. The whole night when I would flush the toilet I would have to take the already broken back of the toilet off to fix the chain, The toilet was the real backbreaker. The top piece was already cracked in half so every time I want to reset the chain I hesitate to pieces and put them back together on top of the toilet. Later that day fixing the toilet half of the toilet top dropped and shattered. I went down to the front desk and explained it to the man at the desk where he understood and said should not be a big problem. I even offered to go to Home Depot and put one in myself considering Home Depot was across the way in in a cost $30. I offered to make this Home Depot trip because there was a guy the night before telling me how they stole his security money once and he has a flight to get it back I didn’t want to go through this I just want everything to go easy. Now that I am home and I check my account I come to find out they took my whole security deposit with no explanation. I didn’t get no compensation for having a toilet constantly running the whole time I was there. This place is trying to change me 200$ for a 30$ part that takes no Installments. I should not have to pay anything at all what I mean is there with Jennifer they already broken toilet cover their cost between $15 and $24...
Read moreI don’t usually post reviews, however I booked a one night stay to escape the snow storm and make my commute to work easier in the morning. Upon arrival and check in, I noticed this unsettling ambiance. It was pretty quiet and I think it may have been me and a couple other people staying, total. When I got to my room, I went to take an hot shower. When I turned the shower on, the water was hitting the shower chair, and coming off was this layer of brownish-orange water onto the shower floor. I gagged, washed it off the floor, and didn’t touch the shower chair. There was no bar soap or anything so I was left with the given shower gel. I had also noticed this uneasy smell in the room but I was exhausted so I didn’t care too much. Anthony was very nice at the front desk and gave me change for the vending machine later on in the night. I stayed in the king non-smoking room. I’m not fussy about the size of the room and the bed was surprisingly pretty comfortable. As someone who’s sensitive to certain textures, one of the underlying blankets felt more like a towel than a blanket. Is it just an old blanket or is it supposed to feel like that? I have no idea. I didn’t inspect for bedbugs or anything, though I probably should have. Overall it wasn’t my worst experience but it was far from the best. If you could find any other hotel for around the same price or even slightly more, it might be worth the extra $50-60/night for a cleaner bathroom and more amenities. However, I only paid about $85 + taxes and fees for the room so I guess you get what...
Read moreGreat Staff - Great Service & NCSE (Nice-Clean-Safe-Economical)!||I want to start out by offering our heartfelt gratitude for making our stay with you a very enjoyable and rewarding experience...you guys are the best!!!||I want to personally thank Anthony, Hardeep, Raj, Kush and Alex for going "out-of-their-way" & "the extra mile" to make our 4-night/5-day stay with you a very rewarding experience.||Note...there was also a very nice/polite/sincere/helpful daytime manager (can't remember his name...maybe Sam???) that was great as well.||The facility and grounds are clean/nice/well maintained and safe and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there...the price was right in-line with our budget as well.||For a review, this might seem to be "too complementary" but the people that own/mange/maintain (including house cleaning) this motel deserve to be praised for their commitment to excellent service.||I will definitely recommend this motel to my friends and relatives that might ever be in that area (BTW...we're from the deep south) and would (if in that area again) would go "out-of-our-way" to stay there.||Note...if you're like us and like that "small town-city - edge of rural area" feel, then Brockton might be the area you want to stay in. It is basically midway from Boston and the south/central Cape Code area sites (i.e. Martha's Vineyard) and we were able to get to the shuttle service for the ferry to Martha's Vineyard in just over an hour.||Best wishes to the owner(s)/staff for the future and thanks again for a...
