I went into the location on 03/30 at 6:23. I waited in line that was backed up to the door patiently and once it was my turn to order the young lady said they were out of burritos. So I then asked for the only other option a bowel. Once I reached checkout I noticed they were opening a brand new pack of tortillas for the mobile order. I asked if they could flip the contents of the bowel into a burrito instead. They said no those were reserved for mobile orders. I then made a mobile order assuming they would just wrap the already made bowel of food. Instead I stood in store and did not get my food until 7:08pm. While I was waiting for my food they restocked the regular line. I watched as people walked away with burritos for 30 minutes because they refused to go to get a new bag of tortillas. Instead they said they were out of stock because it was easier. While waiting I grew impatient and went back into line. I figured they could make the burrito and then just not make the mobile order. I was able to get back in line and the girl built me an entire burrito. While waiting for the person in front of me to pay so I could speak to the cashier and explain they didn’t need to make the mobile order they had just finished the mobile order I originally placed. I walked out with a burrito and left one made on the counter unpaid for. What a waste of everyone’s time. Not only for me the customer but also the employees. For them to make a bowel, throw it out, make a burrito, and make a second burrito it would have taken them 15 seconds to wrap the bowel. Either that or they could have given me a tortilla and I could have done it myself. Next time I’ll know to ask the girl to go get more tortillas from the back and save...
Read moreThe worst experience i’ve had in a while. I was being helped by a girl who seemed like she had it under control until this “superhero” came and “helped” i ordered three different meals one being tacos. He proceeded to take over from the girl asking what i wanted on the tacos, and the bowls i said chicken for all. Then he moved to the person behind me starting his order. Puts the guys bowl with rice next to mine. He proceeded to take the next persons order, puts it next to the other one… he comes back to mine, what do you want on this, i answered… goes back to the person behind me… I he comes back to me and what do you want on this…didn’t even wait for me to answer, he plops hot salsa on it. That was my breaking point. I calmly looked at him and said. I totally understand that you have a line and you’re trying to be quick but you need to slow down because you’re putting things on my food that i don’t eat. He was so nerve racking. The girl was completely handling making my food without his help. At one point they were going around in circles around each other because he was in the way. All he had to do was go on the register and check customers out, because in the beginning the girl was doing both, making plates and checking out. I hope he’s not a manager because he sucks at organizing. I totally feel like I should have walked out without that food because he put stuff on it that i didn’t want but i wasn’t trying to cause a scene. Lesson learned, i will not be going back to chipotle in Brockton @westgate mall....
Read moreI would honestly give this place 0 stars if I could. On the one hand, I can sympathize with restaurants not being able to find workers at wages that do not materially drive up the cost of a restaurant’s finished product. On the other hand, this is a massive corporation which has plenty of ways to offset higher than expected wage costs and still maintain their profit margins. This particular location never has enough staff to service its customers in a reasonable period of time and the workers who do face customers are clearly unhappy and poorly managed (if at all). My bar for service at any quick serve location is relatively low however this chipotle location consistently delivers horrendous customer service and zero hospitality. Again, not a high bar here. At least try to make your customers feel welcome and thank them for their business. Part of the problem is that no competition exists for chipotle around here and I’m sure the store makes plenty of money. In chipotle’s mind, I’m sure they’re aware that service and orders are not where they should be, but they probably don’t care because people come here anyways. Make recommendation is to go elsewhere even if it means a longer drive. The food here is average at best compared to other chipotle’s. But you’ll wait in line and face people who clearly hate working at this store and clearly feel poorly treated by...
