Not recomended , Read on please ... I called to make arrangements to come down a young lady answered the phone and said there was no pre seating Arrangements available I asked to speak to the manager the manager got on the phone and said shewould send a text to me and when I get there tosend a text back saying that I was there. I have three older people in the car one person 89 years old another person 95 years old another one 69 and myself 67 I told her I wanted some type of pre seating so they would not have to stand in the lobby she said well stay in the car and when you send the message to us that you are herewith will text you when there's a table available, we will contact you to say come in That was all fine and well . So just out of curiosity I walked in and I looked at the location there were about 25 seats I counted, booths and high tops available cleaned and ready!!!? I went to the reception desk and I asked the young lady I said are there any seats available she said I don't know I'd have to look then she looked at me and she said is your name Joe I said yes I'm the gentleman that called and you said there were no seats available that i
would have to stay out in the car and wait in the rain and let us know when there was something available well guess what I just counted 25 seats amazing to me why they would leave four people out in the car for no reason whatsoever having 25 seats or so available I wish somebody could explain that to me I know my other three friends including my mother my girlfriend's father 95 years old just had a birthday why they would do this to us we were pretty regular customers every few months the food seems to have gone downhill the ribs didn't taste like they used to I asked for them not to be burned they came out burned the onion flower was burned crispy the bread was, as usual good and we did have a great waiter his name was Kai very attentive and came back now and then to see if we are okay as any good way to our waitress should we spent 100 plus dollars there gave him a $25 tip but I have to say I will never go back to her again very poor service at the reception desk and when I came in I could see they were giggling more so even when I told him who I was they knew I was upset I only gave her one word answers the word yep she asked me who I was Etc and they brought us in immediately to a table This concerns me because they may be doing this to other people as well making them wait unnecessarily if I was management I would do something about this we spent on average of approximately $100 plus every other month easily not anymore I highly do not recommend this location for food or...
Read moreMy wife and I love Texas Roadhouse. However this experience today was unnerving. First, it was our wedding anniversary. And Second, as we get home and I start unloading the containers from my bag I find A chewed rib in the bottom of my bag. The manager I spoke with tried to assure me that none of the kitchen or takeout staff had ordered ribs that day. She tried to play the "oh, it must have fallen out of my one of my containers." The simple fact is, the barbecue sauce from that rib Was all over the Bag and my containers were sitting directly on top of the rib itself. It didn't fall out of a container and completely covered itself on it's own. Also, let me add that our meals were completely intact and our containers were sealed. Worst experience I have had at Texas Roadhouse EVER. It seems like they are on a downslide lately. SO SAD. We love Texas Roadhouse, BUT We now will NOT eat there again. I am afraid of who's leftovers I will find next.
UPDATE SINCE MY LAST REVIEW OF THIS LOCATION. After my last ONE STAR review of this location, the store reached out to me and offered me a coupon to accommodate me for the inconvenience of an eaten bone in my bag. Now, I have gone once again to this location and used the coupon that was given to me. AGAIN, so very sad. I pick up my order and again I get home and when I opened it up the 1st thing I noticed is that I didn't even have the cinnamon butter that Texas Roadhouse is famous for. Instead, I had just regular butter in mybag. Then, as I open my wife and my meals I Notice that both of them have minimal French fries AND that there is a Moist towelette in with and touching my food. The last time that my wife and I tried this food was for our Anniversary. This time was for my Birthday....
Read moreSigh… living south shore, Texas road house used to be the the to go spot for the Asian community around here but it all went down hill. My last visit was horrible horrible that ended up with the manager to come up to us to apologized and gift us free appetizers certificates. Which is a very kind gesture and she’s very good at her job. But today’s visit was another disappointment.. on a Tuesday night we walked in and was sat to a table right away. Waited 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us while our kids were dehydrated. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and main courses all at once. Another 20 minutes passed by, the waiter came back to tell us that they didn’t have any prime ribs and we had to reorder everything. So now 50 MINUTES since being sat, we just placed our orders. And they close at 10 which leave us about 50 minutes to spare from them cooking our food and us eating it. I don’t think I’ll be returning and it’s such a misfortune because we love the food and atmosphere here. But the management or I don’t know what’s going on is ruining the experiences.
There’s NO excuse for a family with kids to arrive before 8pm on a Tuesday to be ignored while being sat on a table and had to wait 20 minutes to order drinks and 40 minutes into ordering everything and being told they don’t have the food we ordered. Now my kids are sleepy and we were left with 30-40 minutes to dine and enjoy before closing. 2+ hours being in the restaurant and 80 minutes being sat at the table without our meal. Ridiculous.
And YES I still left a 25%+ tips for the waiter. He was great but the...
