So I have recently moved to Brockton now being a city girl I always found it hard to find a Spanish restaurant that can satisfy my tastebuds in the suburbs. I can sincerely say that so far Casa Vallarta has not disappoint. when looking for an ideal restaurant you are looking for good service, great customer service, good ambiance, great drinks and of course you cant leave out the star of show "Great food". Coming from a Spanish culture I can be very critical to what touches my palate, I am looking for that authentic Spanish season and spices the food cooked to perfection and of course and perfectly cooked rice. I have visited "Casa Vallarta" enough to say that their food is exquisite, from the tortillas con salsa serve as you sit on the table, to a delicious and hearty tortilla soup filled with grilled chard chicken, avocados, tomatoes, queso fresco (yummmmm ... my fave) to their tacos that are very well executed, to a mouth watering grilled steak and not to forget the churros (a piece of home in each bite). Now this is just a few of the delicious dishes that you can find in the book of menu that you will be handed (it can get a little overwhelming especially to this fat girl that wants to eat everything). The selection of drinks are great, now my husband tends to be picky with his alcohol intake and so far he has not complained yet, I usually go for the mojito (very refreshing may I add) margaritas (the tequila in this is no joke) and last but not least my new favorite "Tequila Sunrise" (I blame Camila Cabello for this). Last but not least the service, I truly enjoy how friendly the staff is, their customer service is great. In conclusion this is one of the hidden gems...
Read moreSo I ordered a combo meal that was supposed to come with two items. The items were a chimichanga and birria tacos. The tacos were completely missing from the combo and when I called the restaurant to mention the missing item, They told me my order wasn’t in the system, and that it basically didn’t exist. They didn’t honor that I ordered through Uber eats and didn’t try to resolve the problem at all. There was no offer of a partial refund or to get the missing food. Overall, the customer service from this restaurant is completely unprofessional and lackluster as a company. The most frustrating thing is that I don’t understand how my order is suddenly not in the system when I have a receipt with an order number saying that my item was received at this restaurant. How can my order not exist if somebody was in the kitchen making my food?? Unless they’re doing magic in the kitchen, something is not adding up. Very disappointed. I also have to note, my mom and sister told me they’ve ordered from here before and dealt with similar issues in the past. After reading some of the reviews on here as well, I see that im not the only one dealing with these issues. As a company, aren’t you guys supposed to want a solid reputation? From what I’ve experienced and read, doesn’t...
Read moreI'm going to start by saying this place is a little pricey especially for what I thought would be a common drink, their Margaritas are $13. It was good but nothing special.Just to name a few places that I've been to Mi Pueblito, Sam Diego's,Dana Habana etc. Therefore I pay on average between $7-9 for a good margarita.I did read alot of good reviews before I went to casa vallarta.I read that the servers were very nice and the food portion were big.My server was a guy,he didn't have much bedside manners, but that's okay. The food portions look big. I'm assuming they only look big because the plate is huge and the way it is presented on the plate. I guess they would say food presentation which makes it look like alot of food (trick the eyes). As far as Taste, its okay, I like Sam Diego's taste and portions better.Dana habana is more for the experience. This place (casa vallarta) I would visit again. But only for convenience and definitely not for a margarita night. Also, there is a Mexican restaurant being built about 10 minutes away. I hope it's not overpriced like this place, I do like the convenience of having decent mxn food not too far away. I will say they (casa vallarta) is better than a traditional margaritaville restaurant chain. This place does...
