IHOP — Restaurant in Brockton

I found the food to be decent overall I didn't partake in much breakfast food others at my table did and I had a sample but my cheeseburger and fries were underwhelming they may have been better if they were hotter and fresher. Unfortunately this is not the fault of the individual who was our server, but the it would be the person responsible for staffing the restaurant. As far as I could see there was only one person working the entire front of the house. He was responsible for all tables plus seating. We also ordered a couple of appetizers the #1 Chicken fingers with barbecue sauce, I thought they were crispy and quite tasty. #2 Mozzarella sticks, they were very crispy and would have been better had they been fresher they were already starting to cool by the time I dipped them into my freezing cold marinara sauce. They should definitely give you heated marinara so as not to aid in the cooling of their mozzarella sticks. I also tried some french toast that was good and a sunday pancake that was quite tasty even though they skimped dramatically on the ice cream. Overall my experience was okay to good. The food was all right and probably could have been good had the place been stabbed properly. The server was friendly and efficient as he could be with the workload. The restaurant was clean and I actually quite enjoyed the music selection during my visit there. I know they are a breakfast joint but I wanted to give the burgers and try, probably won't...

I went in to the brockton, Ma westgate drive , needless to say I was less than pleased with the waitress who waited on me. She greeted us with a hi and I greeted her with the same kind of hi. It was hi pitched but I loved the greeting that's why I did the same. Then she preceeded to tell Me, the customer, that i was rude. Excuse what, she said rude so I'm going to move over to the other person who I brought to dinner. She said because it nicer side of table. I was shocked, speechless and almost Apologized for something that I was not being rude about. But before that happened she said I'm only kidding . What! At this point I was lost for words. If I'm a paying customer why would this waitress come at me like that. My friend looked at me with disbelief and said what just happened I said your guess is as good as mine. I hope you as a company can talk with her and ask her how she could be actually rude to me. I won't be back!! .ihop do better pls!!! . I don't now her name but she knows who she is. I ordered IHOP through DoorDash. Despite the driver bringing me the correct food my drink was missing. I called and spoke to what i guess is an assistant manager who said at first that they couldn’t issue a refund for my soda. When i pushed further he put me on hold to speak with what he said was his district manager who also claimed the same thing but offered to give me a whole new order which i refused because i didn’t need a new order i just wanted a refund for $2.99 for my missing drink. Then they asked me to call back or to show up there an hour later because the girl who does the credit card system wasn’t there, they took down my name and i said I’d call back the next day. Now after all this i was fed up and was just going to let it go but then today two days later we notice a soda is sitting on the ledge of our balcony. Yes they gave me my drink in the end but it was raining today and we didn’t notice it until later so i ended up not being able to drink it anyways because i wasn’t informed that they did this for me. I’m giving them three stars because they did give me my drink and i appreciate that but the service from both managers was sub par and my food was cold by the time it got to me. I also believe they should have done a better job. Probably won’t order...
