Barre has been —what I’ve always needed! As a former gym girlie trying to balance life between full time school and full time job and other responsibilities — the gym was becoming a lot mentally. I started dealing with decision fatigue in the gym. I had to find something else to maintain working out and moving my body. I heard about Barre and was easily convinced “that’s not for me” after doing a little research for Pilates- I came across Barre a couple times and also heard about it from a friend! I decided to try a free class. I loved the first class and I haven’t missed a class since. I’m so glad I decided to give it a try. Long story short, I see the difference, I feel the difference and I love the difference. Barre has allowed me to dismantle the idea that I have to strain my body to get the results that I want and that’s not true. I love being kind to my body and listening to my body. The community is warm and beautiful. The instructors are amazing! Great leading, amazing teaching and super encouraging! Read moreI have been going to barre3 classes at the Druid Hills location since February. I try to go 2-3 times a week. I find the instructors to be excellent and have had classes with eight different ones. During class the instructors constantly walk around the room to confirm that we are doing the moves correctly and if we are not they will help adjust our bodies accordingly. In other barre classes I have attended this is not the case and you have to hope that you're doing the moves right. The whole environment at Barre3 Druid Hills is fabulous. It's like one big family with everyone alwsys saying hello and making you feel so welcome. Each class is different and you can do it at the difficulty level your body can handle. I travel 20 minutes to attend Barre3 at Druid Hills even though other barre studios are much closer to my home and I will continue to do so. Read moreI love Barre3! Working out used to be a mostly hate relationship. I knew I needed to workout to be healty but due to some physical limitations, I always felt like I was slow, weak, and old in workout class. My goal was to get through a class, like finish it; without crying, throwing up, or passing out. I hated it. But I thought that was normal. Then due to a new health issue, I was told I can't jump, lift, box, etc. So, then what? I did some online reviews and found Barre3. The people are nice, there are ladies of all strength levels, ages, and body sizes. I'm like, this is different. Maybe I won't be the slow one in class. With all of the deadlifts and box jumps I've done, I could never get strength in my hips or back body where I need it. Until Barre3! I am so happy I stumbled in and found you guys!!
