Ladies, use caution. I was inappropriately touched and made to feel very uncomfortable by Peter during my 90 min body massage. Will not be returning.
Update: Now that I’m a bit more removed from the experience and can share more, my experience was as follows:
I’ve seen Peter for a massage on three separate occasions over the past couple of months. The first two massages were AMAZING. At about the halfway point of my third and most recent massage (starting dozing off a bit), I noticed a shift. At one point, I felt what I suspected were genitals pressed into arm which passed quickly. Then, the massage began creeping ever higher up my inner thigh, but then would back off…or a hand would quickly “slip” a little too close to touchy areas and not happen again for awhile. At one point, I was able to verbalize “I don’t like that” and moved my hand to stop his from moving any further up my thigh, just before my groin. I was met with frustration. At this point, I was uncomfortable but also incredibly confused and convinced I’d missed something. Later in the massage I physically covered my chest and groin as I was MUCH more sure this experience wasn’t in my head and what was happening was not okay. Rather than stopping the massage as I was clearly uncomfortable, I was roughly toweled down while still covering myself.
After sitting with this experience, doubting myself, and wondering how to inform other woman, I decided to check out the reviews. When I saw another comment concerning a male massage therapists genitals “accidentally” coming in contact with her during the session, I knew I wasn’t crazy.
Be safe, speak up, and...
Read moreGood: this place is very clean and affordable. The women were very nice. I would suggest exclusively getting a massage by the women.
Bad: literally everything else. I wasnt expecting to be massaged by a man after walking in and being greeted by about 5 women, but I didn't really care which gender massaged me at the time. So about that massage... I realized dude's junk, although it -almost- seemed like an accident , rested on my palm for a few seconds. It didn't occur again, and for some dumb reason I decided to continue the massage (got the 30min body massage). The massage felt like I was getting pounded by a stishovite ore giant despite my plea to stop. There was no technique. I expected to leave feeling great. To my disbelief, when I was leaving for work this morning my neck and shoulders were so tender my badge lanyard was too uncomfortable to wear. For reference, the person massaging me was the bigger younger looking guy of the 2 men I saw.
I assume the other people working here do a good job based on the other reviews. I'll just stick to my normal massage chains from now on,...
Read moreI’ve been to this place many times and has been hit or miss. This will be the last time I come due to a rough massage with little regard to me wincing in pain. I planned to leave no tip because of the two areas i mentioned needing support, both areas were only grazed over, my feet and hands barely touched. There were couple of time I could feel fingernails in my skin and pressure put on endangerment sites behind my knees…. I’ve been a massage therapist for almost a decade and there are certain areas that there should never be pressure applied to as they pose risk. The lady made a comment about their not being a tip on my credit card slip so I gave her five dollars and she insisted that I give her 10. I’ve always set my prices so that I’m comfortable even if they don’t leave a tip. It is rude to assume everyone can afford to tip and I personally did not get into this field to be rich- it was to help people. Rich or poor. If someone does a good job, I leave a generous tip even if I am pinching pennies....
