HangTime — Attraction in Buena Park

This ride is so awesome. I got on it two times last time when I was there but this time I’m going to ride it three times in the morning and two times at night with my friend. All together, next time I’m going to ride five times! It is so smooth and you don’t have do push the seat belt up when the ride is over. NO NO NO, they does everthing for you. The lap bar comes up it self. The drop is so exhilarating awesome. I’m going to knott’s Berry Farm next Sunday! Me, my parents, my little brother, and my friend are super super excited about going there again. My dad and my brother could ride calico mine ride, my mom’s favorite ride is the Jaguar roller coaster. We will definitely do silver bullet, ghost rider, hangtime, Sierra sidewinder, Montezooma’s revenge, and timber mountain log. I can not wait at all until that day, I really want like now is the time that I could go to the park that last for almost 100 years, opened in 1920 and which is the special Knott’s Berry Farm. I don’t know how many times do I have to say that I love it so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so...

Now, the ride itself was great. However, I noticed there were plenty of empty seats with each ride launched. As my partner and I reached the front, we got in line for the seats with single and double riders as there would be room for us since each row has 4 seats. We tried getting on, but they wouldn't let us on despite the amount of open seats. We asked why we can't get on, and the ride operators told us they want the row to themselves. That's weird. Isn't it the ride operator's job to fill up the seats to move the line faster? No wonder why this ride always has such a long line. Customers are allowed to request the entire row to themselves and that's ok. A family got behind us thinking we were going to board with the single riders, so they got separated from each other as they had to board on the next coaster. If you want to ride a roller coaster where they'll let you have the entire row to yourself, this is the place to go, but I hope you don't mind the exorbitantly long line because that's the consequence of ride operators allowing half the seats...

HangTime is one of the newest roller coasters at Knott's Berry Farm and the first dive coaster in California. It's located where Boomerang and Riptide used to be.

The surfing themed coaster sends riders up a huge vertical ascent before coming to a stop, leaving riders suspended at the crest for several seconds before rapidly descending. After the first drop, there are also 5 loops/inversions.

The vertical ascent is probably the most intimidating part as you'll be staring at the sky, feeling like you're going to fall out the top of your seat. Riders are secured with tightly fitting waist bars but I'm surprised they don't use over-the-shoulder restraints. HangTime is one of my favorites rides at Knott's although I miss Boomerang.

Wait time is typically 90-120 minutes. Definitely consider having a fast lane pass...
