I'm on a business trip, and I'm staying in the room my company booked at the super 8 here. I arrived just before midnight to find that my key card didn't work. I called front desk to get a replacement and was met by a rude Indian man who acted like I was the scum of the earth and practically threw the cards at me. I went up to my room to eat and bring my stuff up, and was getting ready for bed by 1am. I checked the beds for bed bugs, and thankfully found none. Unfortunately, what I did find was smelly sheets that had hair on them, sticky spots on the desk and dresser, torn curtains that don't close all the way, some nasty I don't want to know in the tub, what looks like urine on the bathroom floor, gunk on the door handle, nasty question stains on the shower curtain, and what looks like dirty finger marks under the showerhead. I called to ask for clean sheets, and was lectured about the time by the same overly rude and disrespectful man. To be frank, I couldn't hear everything he said because the phone was so quiet he came out as a barely audible whisper. I had to insist strongly before he could be bothered to assist, and when he did he only brought me a top sheet. So I went down stairs and called front desk again to get the remaining linens. Which I had to switch out myself, something I wouldn't be so bothered by if I hadn't been cussed out by the night shift guy, and had to deal with him threatening to call the cops on me because he couldn't be bothered to walk 3ft to unlock the hotel's laundry room and pull the remaining linens out of a hamper that they'd been carelessly left in. I asked for the manager and hotel owner's numbers, but was only rudely told that he was the manager, and again he barked that it wasn't his job to do anything but operate the front desk. He finished by once again complaining about the time and threatening to call the police should I call him again. Now I wouldn't care so much about all the questionable stains, and obviously poor house keeping if he hadn't been so rude and disrespectful, and if the bedding had been clean. As it's my company paying, I'm sure it's a very cheap hotel, but that does not excuse dirty linens with obvious body odor, and such extremely poor service. While he may have said "ma'am", he was still rude and disrespectful from the moment I got here. As someone who works in customer service, I have a particularly low tolerance for such behavior, and I can't imagine anyone who behaves in such a way making it to a management positron. If he truly is a manager, then I'm sure I will be equally disappointed in the rest of the staff. Over all, I would say this has been an epically appalling visit, and I will be speaking to someone in an actual position of importance in the morning.
I've taken as many pictures as possible, so you can get an idea of what you'd...
Read moreI hardly know where to begin. The price of this room was outrageous for what we received, and the level of disregard for accessibility was both unacceptable and deeply frustrating. No guest—especially one with disabilities—should ever be put in a position where their well-being feels like an afterthought. My friend and I were traveling for a funeral with her elderly service dog. I was in an air-boot with a cane, dependent on oxygen, and had made specific accessibility requests two weeks in advance. I clearly stated that we required a first-floor room unless the property had an elevator. Despite this, when we arrived, the manager informed us that the only available room was on the second floor. Because it was the first weekend of open hunting season, every other hotel within 50 miles was fully booked, leaving us with no alternative. To make matters worse, my friend was forced to carry her large, elderly service dog up and down the stairs multiple times. This was not only physically exhausting for her but also stressful and unsafe for the animal. The fact that these circumstances were allowed to happen underscores the complete lack of preparation and respect for accessibility needs. The room itself was mediocre at best. It was somewhat outdated, though not filthy, and thankfully we encountered no pests. However, the bathroom was in unacceptable condition. The tub and surrounding areas were coated in years of grime and dirt—a level of neglect that speaks to poor maintenance and a lack of proper cleaning standards. The only redeeming factor in this experience was the compassion of the check-in manager. He showed genuine concern for my health and even offered to cancel and refund our stay, though this provided little comfort when our only choices were to sleep in the car or remain in unsuitable accommodations. He personally offered to carry my oxygen concentrator upstairs, and I arranged for someone else to bring it down the next day, for which I am grateful. However, beyond his personal efforts, the hotel offered nothing to correct the serious inconvenience we endured. I was only able to recover part of the expense through Expedia. This experience was not only disappointing—it was disheartening. Accessibility should never be treated as optional, and advance requests should not be ignored. Disabled guests and their companions deserve the most basic dignity and fair treatment. Unfortunately, this property failed to meet those standards in nearly...

Hello, I would like to say that this property needs immediate attention. There are clear and apparent city, state, and federal code violations.
No connected phone in the pool / sauna area, There is a physical phone, and directions to use phone, and indicators, but not plugged in nor working There are fire extinguishers that are outdated and on floor No doors lock successfully with the key system Food that was served was old and milk rotten
Beyond the overall safety of guests, the place was an absolute mess from a cleanliness stand point. An absolute 0, if possible a negative. Photos attached indicate yet again, city, state, and code violations.
Floors stains all over rooms and entry/exit Art above bed flaking into bed from old age Stains on all sheets, mattress, and towels Trash piles and feces never moved the entire stay, and looked as if been there weeks. Roll off dumpsters full of bathroom remodel over flowing with weeds growing through the wheels Trash everywhere Pool stunk and had a film daily Vending machines had holes cut in them and all food stolen out Dog feces left for days on front concrete, kicked around, rained on, never looked at. Mold in hallways growing on walls
From a management standpoint, or whoever was the body behind the desk. Every day and night the cleaning crew, desk crew, and night crew changed, sometimes nobody was there. Very unsafe feeling from the "crew" running it.
Also nightly there was police activity and domestic violence cases. Dogs in the hallways and in the pool area. Food everywhere.
We went to a destination town, on a destination holiday, and had no other options but to take it, the entire town was booked solid. To not let a small part of a huge weekend for us put us down, it was our 10th wedding anniversary, and we met and had our first big trip a decade ago at BV. We didn't have our 4 year old with us for the first time in 4 years, and with such a reputable backing of Motel...
