I’ve been getting my spray tans with Nelli for over a decade and they’ve never been anything short of flawless, always natural, even and long-lasting. But I recently tried the scalp therapy at her new location, Intentions Body Spa, and I’m honestly still floating. ✨

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had entered a hidden sanctuary. The aesthetic is pure serenity: calming neutral tones, soft ambient lighting, plush textures and the subtlest hint of aromatherapy in the air. You can feel the intention behind every single detail. I was given the cutest robe to slip into (seriously, where can I buy one?) and shown to a beautiful minimalist locker to tuck my things away. Even that moment felt like part of the experience. Everything was so clean, serene and thoughtfully designed. I hadn’t even started the treatment yet and I already felt relaxed.

Now for the scalp therapy… game changing. It wasn’t just a treatment, it was an immersive experience. From the rhythmic, soothing scalp massage to the detoxifying and nourishing elements, it was luxurious, restorative and shockingly grounding.

Wow!!! What can I say besides WOW! Nelli the owner herself did my scalp treatment today. I got the detox scalp reset which was absolutely worth every penny. Upon arriving, I was giving a robe to put on, and slippers, then I was taken to get a scalp analysis. Upon looking at my scalp and seeing that I have a case of seborrheic dermatitis (fungal infection on the scalp). She asked if I wanted a relaxing treatment or if I wanted to start the process of getting rid of the issue. I chose starting the cure. She put an oil treatment on my scalp, then steamed it, then I laid down so she can do the washes and rinses. The bed itself has like massage features and pressure points so it was truly an all over experience. Nelli was soooooo helpful in explaining the issue in detail and how to prevent it from spreading to other areas. The biggest green flag for me was the barbacide sitting with combs and tools in there. She explained how sanitizing is a priority there and how other places that have the ring water fall or other features are now ILLEGAL due to being unhygienic. I truly believe that in 6 months to a year this place will be packed and appointments will be so hard to get because of the exceptional service. I have already made my next appointment! I...

I highly recommend Scalp Spa by Nelli! Upon arrival, I was greeted and asked about my current hair care regiment and things that affect my scalp. I loved that was able to lay down and relax. The bed was heated and there was a nice foot pad for my feet. I was also given a blanket and a towel to put over my chest so I wouldn’t get wet during the scalp treatment. After the analysis of my scalp with a cool magnified camera and some discussion, we began with the treatment. We started with a light dry brush process then proceeded to the hair oiling that included oils like jojoba oil, castor oil, and rosemary oil. This felt very invigorating and refreshing. We then proceeded after to a K18 treatment which smelled amazing and some other hydrating treatments. I also got to experience the sprinkler rinse that’s viral on TikTok and instagram, was so cool. We also then did a final analysis my scalp with the camera which really showed a substantial difference. And finally we finished with a blow dry of my hair. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and my hair felt so light. I’ll definitely be coming back soon....
