Giant Pharmacy — Local services in Burke

Most rudest Giant I've ever been to. The cashier girl was extremely rude and look at me like I owe her money or something. She never once greeted any of the customer and always puts on a "GTFO" face. When I was paying for some item she said that there is a coupon, which I didn't know about, as I thought that you could just use your membership cards instead. She then was at least nice enough to go get me a coupon, but only found one, so she ripped the coupon out, not neatly, and started scanning it in a rude way. Then I decided that I didn't want it anymore because I couldn't afford it. She then responded " If you didn't want it, then you should of told me before hand so that I don't have to waste my time getting this". Like I could understand her, but she didn't need to be rude when I decided not to buy the items.

So far in the pass I've never had a problem with this Giant, but today I've ran into this kind of rudeness for the first time. I could guarantee that I will not be returning to a place this rude, as I don't want to feel...

I will never go to this Giant again as long as Peggy continues to work there. She is ALWAYS extremely rude when I go through the self-checkout line. I have watched her yell at older people using the self-checkout as well as raising her voice to people with thick accents who needed assistance. I have had two separate interactions with her that resulted in her rudely telling me all the things I am doing wrong at the checkout.

The store proudly announces that it is a Union store as you walk in the one narrow entrance, therefore, Peggy will probably work there without repercussions for her rude behavior for a very long time. I will be driving the 2.6 miles to the newer, bigger, cleaner Giant in the Kings Park...

I had an emergency at 5:45pm on a Saturday on a long holiday weekend. My doctor was able to prescribe a medication immediately but I had to find a pharmacy that could fill it. Not only did Michelle and Aleeza take the prescription over the phone, they were incredibly efficient and served my medication with a smile right at 6 (closing time). I am incredibly grateful for their diligence (it must have been tempting to close up early and go enjoy the evening) and compassion - Giant Pharmacy is lucky...
