I went in for an 8 AM appointment for an updo and the only person there said she doesn’t do updos so I left. The second appointment a week later for an updo, aka an uptini, was at first laughable version and I thought it was a joke. It was so bad I took a photo. The man that was working started all over and made it worse than the first time. No one else was available to help. I can’t believe I paid $99 to look like a child did my hair from 1860! The worst part is no one cared. The staff acts like they don’t want to be there. It is an absolute joke to get a $99 updo here! The blowouts are great.

they were 35 minutes late from my appointment not sure how this could be even acceptable, it is 45 minutes long service. On the other hand, they charge $35fee if you are late. What a scam. If you want to get your hair washed with blowout and sit and wait for $59 this is the place

🚨 AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE 🚨 I am NOT the type of person to write reviews. I let things slide, I move on. But this “blowout” was so bad, I literally left with WET HAIR after paying full price, and I refuse to stay quiet.

Here’s the timeline: They called me 50 mins before my appointment asking to push me back 15 mins. Fine, I was nice about it. I show up, get rushed through the fastest hair wash of my life, and I’m back in the chair before people who were already at the bowl when I walked in. The blow dry? A joke. She used medium heat, barely any tension, and I could feel my hair frizzing before she even finished. I asked her to redo my front pieces, explained I needed her to get closer to the root, and only then did she finally turn up the heat.

I pay, start walking out, and realize my head still feels heavy. Because it’s DAMP. I walk back in, and she has to redo the bottom of my hair. I leave again and later realize the crown of my head is STILL wet. I call as I am walking to my car, hoping maybe they’ll offer to fix it or at least try to make it right… nope. Just told, “we’re overbooked, nobody can do anything, your complaint is being sent to management and they will decide if you get a refund.” No offer to rebook, no apology, nothing.

Fast forward to me at home, blow-drying my own hair because it wasn’t even properly washed in the first place. That’s when I realized my hair was not washed properly at all, I could literally feel and see oil build-up. Had to drown myself in dry shampoo just to get by.

💀 So not only did I lose an hour of my life, I also had to redo everything myself. Tell me again what I paid for? Because it definitely wasn’t a blowout. The customer service is nonexistent, the technique is questionable, and honestly I don’t know how this place is still in business with all these negative reviews. Take my advice: save your money and your sanity. I’ll be at Halo down the street...

Certain stylists are great here- and my review is not a reflection on them. Many Drybars, including this location, are poorly managed. The communication is not reliable, and their scheduling system is horrible. Being honest, not all blowouts are equal. So when you find a stylist you like, you want to stick with them. However, there is no way to choose your stylist when you schedule on their website. Rarely does anyone answer the phone. Rarely do they have a receptionist working. The stylists doing hair are expected to answer calls- which obviously does not work. So the ONLY way to schedule with a specific stylist is to drive there and book in person- unacceptable in 2024!! Many times you show up for your appointment, and you’ve been rescheduled to another stylist, without being informed, which is rude and unprofessional. Also they constantly run late. If a client is late- you are charged. If the stylists runs late- there is almost never a heads up call- no information- you just sit there and wait. No offer for a discount or a free blowout for wasting your time. Drybar management needs to step it up- get a website that works to schedule with your preferred stylist, make appointment times longer so you don’t run constantly, and please contact customers if there will be a stylist change or...

I had the absolute pleasure of having Laila style my hair at the Dry Bar, and let me tell you—she is a true artist! From the moment I sat in her chair, she exuded warmth, professionalism, and a skill level that truly sets her apart.

Laila was not only incredibly talented and precise with every step of the process, but she also made the experience so enjoyable with her delightful personality. She was wonderful to talk to—charming, funny, and genuinely attentive. It felt less like a salon appointment and more like catching up with a friend, all while leaving me looking and feeling like a million bucks.

Her skill is unmatched. My hair looked absolutely flawless—voluminous, perfectly styled, and it held beautifully all day (and even into the next!). It’s clear that she takes immense pride in her work, and it shows in every detail.

If you’re lucky enough to have Laila as your stylist, consider yourself in the best hands possible. I can’t recommend her highly enough—she deserves all the accolades and then some! I will definitely be booking with her again and spreading the word to anyone who needs a top-tier stylist.

Thank you, Laila, for making my day so special and my hair...
