Burlington is an absolute gem. A beautiful lake nestled in the basin of beautiful green mountains. Wonderful people. Amazing selection of restaurants and activities. The city government has rotted this place. What was once a nice stroll around a walkable city is now rampant with drug use, homeless people and beggars. People passed out in the park and using drugs right in front of city hall. Absolutely horrendous. The fact this government continues to coddle those who are destroying the public trust is despicable. While they think they are letting people live their lives the reality stands they are enabling their untimely death from overdoses. Those people do not pay taxes yet they receive MORE services than the hard working people of Burlington. If I were to urinate on the side of a building (pic attached) then I would be arrested. Not these folks. The weak and whiny politicians chose cowardice and grime than making hard decisions and clean streets. Burlington you can do better!

There's a lot to like in the Burlington area: hundreds of miles of Lake Champlain freshwater shoreline, beautiful views of the Adirondack mountains to the west and the Green mountains to the east; the colleges contribute sharp minds and young attitudes to the community. Wonderful, legendary skiing in Winter, gorgeous sailing in the Summer and beautiful Fall colors. I've watched this community develop over the last half century with a beautiful waterfront, courtesy Bernie Sanders and the administration at that time. Yes, the city suffers some homelessness and drug problems like many other cities do, but they recognize it and are starting to deal with it. With their energy, young thinking & can-do attitude, they'll get on top of it faster and better than most.

One of the famous party place in Burlington, Vermont. The whole aisle of the street is vibrant and colourful. a lot of restaurants in the street with street music keeps the evenings young.

These Vermonters will sell you a barn of an apartment for 1600 dollars with utilities. Your racist neighbors will call DCF on you for not being able to turn off your broken fire alarm. The police and DCF lie. If your family tries to adopt the state will ignore and lie about them. Basically this state has a line of local Vermonters with six fingers on each hand and a hand on their head lining around the block. The State changed the law so relatives don’t have priority adopting their relatives. It’s free babies and kids for all the inbred goonies in Vermont. If you or your wife have anxiety or have ever seen a psychiatrist don’t move here. These people will make up medical stories, hide all of the reports of the medical specialists you see, and the court will give you a lawyer who won’t turn in your documentation, and they will switch your lawyer every month so you can’t coordinate a defense. Don’t...
