I purchased a stone vase from Joss&Main for my new house during Christmas. Unfortunately, the vase turned out to be defective and caused water to leak out, which ended up damaging my brand new $1000+ bar cabinet. The crack on the vase was so subtle that it was very hard to spot, and the water leaked slowly, causing a lot of damage before I even realized it was happening.
When I contacted Joss&Main, they took the vase back, and promised to contact me later after they talked to their high management about how to solve the problem. I waited for four days, and finally, a sales lead emailed me and suggested me to reach out to Wayfair's customer service to see if I can get the contact info of whoever produced this vase and blame the manufacturer in China.
What kind of customer service is this? I bought a defective product from Joss&Main, and they're making me call the manufacturer in China? This is ridiculous. We specifically ordered the right-hand facing (RHF), but the item delivered was the left-hand facing (LHF). When we went to the store to point out the error, the initial male staff member directed us to call customer service. We called CS to arrange an exchange or full refund, only to be told an unbelievable piece of information: the RHF unit we ordered reportedly doesn't even exist! We returned to the store again and explained. It turned out that due to a technical issue, the system had temporarily allowed customers to select the non-existent RHF option for this product. Read moreThis is the worst company EVER!!!!! I placed a rather significant order with them, over $10K and I had to go through a day of customer service because the one item came damaged. I had a replacement come and it was damaged as well. I had to fight with customer service because they wanted me to return an item that was over 200lbs. They finally just gave me the refund without having to return it. I then just got another much larger item (outdoor dining table) that when I paid an extra $150 to have white glove delivery they only just carried the items off the truck and not assemble it and take the packaging.
