Even though the mall isn't full of stores, what they do have is great! I wish more businesses would open in here though, but it's still a great mall! I'm sitting next to the fountain right now, writing this review. It's so relaxing, and I enjoy seeing people walking around and shopping! Lisa's has two store fronts here, and both stores are amazing(she has a salon too)!! Bath and body works is always a must stop at store, and Magoo's! JCPenney always has great deals, and Dunham's is still rocking too. I really need to check out "I need that" as they give foot massages, and I do need that! Lol. There is a nail salon in here too, and a men's store. Goodwill always has great items and deals, a long with the party store! It's definitely a mall worth checking out, and shopping at! Oh and the Mexican restaurant is fantastic, and has great food and margaritas!! Help support your local shops...

I will add that the Flint Public Library and Sloan Museum are a welcome sight in the Courtland Mall as their temporary homes until their permanent locations in the Flint Cultural Center are complete.
Update: The newly renovated Flint Public Library and the Sloan Museum of Discovery have both left the mall and have moved into their permanent locations in the Flint Cultural Center.
Visited the new store ROSS Dress for Less which moved into the spot previously occupied by Staples (east end of the mall). They have an abundance of merchandise in stock, much more than clothing. I found many things overpriced, but some...

When you have to turn a major retail chain into a museum something is wrong. Planet Fitness takes up what used to be several stores and the movie theater is still hanging in there somehow.
All of the kiosks that used to be in the center aisles have been gone for nearly 5 years and this place serves mostly as a walking space for the avid mall walkers.
I predict it won’t last another decade, but it could take longer to finally kill this beast of a building. Whatever reason you have to come here you can typically get somewhere else without feeling like you’re in a run down apocalyptic brick and mortar retail graveyard.
2 stars for the memories I had of coming here...
